Al Qaeda detonates a dirty bomb in a major metropolitan US city.

US retaliates with nuclear strike on Iran.

Iran attacks Israel.

Israel and Iran pull all the middle eastern countries into a regional conflict.

AQ explodes suitcase nukes in USA and UK.

USA drops nukes on Iran, Syria and Lebanon.

North Korea invades South Korea.

100's of thousands will die.

I think this will start in 2005.

It will happen very quickly and we won't even have time to catch our breath.

possible, but i even if al queda has expetise to make briefcase nukes its unlikely they have technology or proper facilities to make effective one. but then again even if a defective one that dosent work were found it would cause lots of retalitation and fear.

I'm quite concerned about this year's Super Bowl.

Jacksonville is a port city, there are 3 Major navy bases w/i 30 miles of the stadium...Mayport, NAS and Kings Bay Ga (nuclear subs).

Very large Muslim population where cells could be hidden.

Known 911 hijackers trained in Daytona and flew out of JIA.

FBI has been investigating several instances of ME type men inquiring about the bridges and boat rentals.

80,000 in the stands.

1 million people in the MSA.

including me.

talk about a symbolic target...hopefully I'm just a bit paranoid.

I think that if we did drop a Nuke in Iran it would affect Syria and Isreal
pretty badly as well as far as North Korea and South Korea that would be very bad. I think more like millions would die..

You left out the part of the script that says In retaliation for the attack on Iran
China launches Ballistic arms on US , Germany retaliates on China, and Russia
Retaliates on Germany, What a mess that would be

but in all seriousness I hope we are wrong but I to fear that this will happen
sooner rather that later..

China would not launch nukes on behalf of Iran.

And what does Germany have to do with it?

The Koreas is an entirely other issue.

No Nukes... No Nukes... No Nukes...

No Nukes... No Nukes... No Nukes...

I personally do not beleive that there will be a "suitcase" nuke detonated on U.S. soil.

I also, don't beleive we'll see Nuclear Weapons used to start a war or in a war in our life time...

I'm 34yrs old, I just don't think we'll see it....

I don't believe that the so-called missing suitcase nukes from the former Soviet Union will have anything to do with this. Nukes need a lot of maintenance. This maintenance demands expertise which is not readily available.

What I do predict is the use of the "dirty bomb". Highly radioactive materials packed with conventional explosives would cause tremendous losses -- financial losses and losses of life -- if detonated in an urban area, especially a densely occupied urban area such as Manhattan or Chicago.

I predict the use of nukes in the very near future though this will not be in the United States or even in Britain. I believe that terrorists will set off a nuke in Paris France in reaction to the recent ban on Muslim headgear in the schools. I know this sounds like an over-reaction but this issue is a direct affront to the Islam faith. And the likelyhood of a decisive military response from France is minimal (at least it could be considered as such). This would only serve to spur the terrorists on.

I have this fear that if any nuclear bomb goes off anywhere in the world that it would lead up to a chain reaction of nuclear holocust. The US and Russia have enough Nuclear bombs to destroy the world completely about 20 times fold.

"I'm 34yrs old, I just don't think we'll see it...."

Funny, that is my age and ever since I can remember I have had incredibly vivid dreams of being in a nuclear holocaust. Starting from about age 8 when I had no clue what devastation it would cause.

In what part of the world do you breathe?

Since 8 you've had dreams of nuclear disasters?

Growing up I lived in Orange County, California.

Yes, the dreams started at a very young age. One dream that really stands out as a kid was where I was playing outside in the street when I looked down the street and a wave of fire of infinite height came roaring towards me. As the fire enveloped me I woke up.

Another dream was the aftermath of a nuclear bomb outside the immediate incineration radius. I recall being at my elementary school and seeing random things on fire and people in various degrees of being burnt up, but still alive.

Now I live in Sin City.

China has on many occasions stated that they will defend smaller nations
that the U.S. tries to impose their law on.

and hey if if everybody else is involved Germany will get it's feet stepped on
sooner or later, example : we the U.S. were not going to get involved in WWII
but we got our feet stepped on so in we go as is always the case in every
major war and if there are attacks on all of the mentioned places it will be
considered a World War and it will only be a matter of time until every
country is involved

Germany does not possess nuclear weapons.

And I can guarantee you China did not mean unleashing nukes in their statement.

I will admit, I was affraid of a nuclear attack at one time... back when I was in Junior High School, I found a book in the library about nuclear war... it listed some targets...

I was scared to death, listed #12 of 20 was the town I lived in...

Catlettsburg, KY, Ashland Oil Refinery...

China would defend Iran because they just signed an oil deal with them I think someone else posted the same thing in another post

Let me repeat....China will not risk their country over an "oil-deal" w/ Iran.

would you?

posted on Nov, 18 2004 @ 01:23 PM

Actually they would because if the US invades Iran then they would basically control most of the oil in the world.

I disagree. (I also do not believe we will invade Iran)

Lets leave it at that.
