It's always been out "next year". DARPA did not order one, it's a lie that he knows will get lots of orders from people who think like you are thinking.

This is a scam and Rossi has been caught in an extremely large number of lies.

I stopped following Rossi after I saw the Florida debacle

I believe that is the same debacle where he claimed his prototype was damaged by an Earthquake in one country while also claiming the same prototype was passing tests in Florida.

It would be brilliant if it worked.

Meanwhile, you don't hear much about the restart of the Bussard polywell fusor out of the Navy types. Legend has it they hit breakeven when they burned up the first prototype about the time Bussard passed away. With the new prototype set up properly, I'd expect they could at least replicate that...but you never hear a peep. I think that's good news, and 25 years from now after Naval Weapons and Sea Systems uses it for silent propulsion, we might get a sniff.
