The US authorities have studied online sexual activity and suggested exposing porn site visits as a way to discredit people who spread radical views, the Huffington Post news site has reported.

It published a document, leaked by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden, identifying two Muslims said to be vulnerable to accusations of "online promiscuity"

NSA 'planned to discredit radicals over web-porn use

I was wondering how long until this happened. I encourage everyone to visit lemon party at least once a day so someone in a cubicle somewhere has to look at it while monitoring people's usage.

Well, there ya go. The path down this road just gained speed and reached the apex. There really is no way back from this, as we must now continue on down the rabbit hole to reach an end.

Yah Govt!!!!!!! Thanks for all the free goodies (Not for me, as I make too much) in exchange for the retraction of freedoms and fake security.

Good find.

Afternoon,

This is nothing.
This is just the NSA is playing underhand pitch softball.
Just wait till they realize the tactic won't work as effectively as they'd planned...THEN we'll see some real heat.

Sounds more like it will be used as a tool to steer policy... disagree with the administration and get publicly smeared...

...and the timing suggests that it also a "warning" to dissenters. Play nice with us, or we play nasty with you...

I have no real vested stake in society, so "porn on" I say

Too bad that doesn't matter anymore.

What a joke this idea of Personal Freedoms has become.

My question to the NSA is who cares?

What next they're going to expose how many times somebody cheats on their diet?

Honestly people how many of you have visited a porn site? I'm sure there are a few who haven't but most internet users have visited a porn site if for no other reason than out of curiosity.

I for one think if you're an adult and choose to induldge in the beauty and joys of the world wide web then have at it!

And people wondered why Justice Roberts seemed to do a 180 and supported obamacare. Not to mention the failure of the last house vote to limit NSA spying.

I think they're already doing it

The only radicals I see are the tyrants behind this madness, continuously clamping down on this nation of 'personal freedoms,' among a many of other things I'm going to save myself from ranting about.

This # is ridiculous.

The State always knows right, even when they're proven wrong, right?

1984
a world of perpetual war, omnipresent government surveillance, and public mind control .

Job done then , we have Xbone with the potential for spying on users while at play and now the NSA spying on and planing to smear people they suspect of not thinking the right way...while at play . You've got to admire Orwell he was only 30 years out .

But I suppose if it stops terrorism then ...

None of the six individuals who appear in the report are accused of being directly involved in terrorism.

Oh ..Er

I read the title and thought "Oh crap, they're writing a story on me".

Just further proof that there are zero checks and balances. If they can do it to radicals, they can do it to you and even the president of the United States, judges, lawyers, politicians, your priest, your zoning officer......

To some people this crap matters. What if your a school teacher and they not only use porn sites but use a total smear campaign full of lies and half truths? Its a more efficient tool then you might think.

Imagine an entire congregation knows a priest likes gay porn. How will that look? I don't mind, you don't mind but it does impact others.

No wonder they have all those terrible ads on the free movie sites. I suggest if a person has a real problem, they shouldn't be going to online porn sights as its complete abuse of humanity and women/children, and should not exist to begin with. People who frequent that stuff need massive counseling IMO.

However if they think they can just smear the mud on family computers for the stuff kids do, until busted, on sleep overs or their own evil plots to put crapola ads up, like some kind of a net, I wouldn't lose sleep over it, its called speaking up stridently with a big mouth and pointing the long finger of blame back to them. Women are quite good at doing that, to the degree that they would ducking and dodging in no time. We would make short verbal work of all those plotting against humanity, for we don't suffer fools gladly.

If they want, they can download despicable child porn onto your computer, cell phone, laptop, tablet, etc. and you won't even know it. Stuck off in a folder labeled financial documents. And those tiny pieces of blotter paper slipped under the mat on the passengers side of your Honda. Stuff your attorney won't touch with a 10ft pole as you are left twisting in the wind. And you will rat out your mother if asked to.

It's a brave new world.....
