Ah, thanks. I get it now. So, taking the bible as literal canon and if I were Satan:

- When showing Jesus all of kingdoms that could be his, I would have instead shown him all of the atrocities his father allows and encourages; rape, stonings, starvation, murder, etc.

- After convincing him that his father is truly not what he thought he was and the Jesus absolutely knows better and has a better heart than Yahweh, I would explain to him how much better he is on his own.

- Convincing Jesus that he is better, greater, and more just than his god/father would then make Jesus unleash his message of tolerance and love without the trappings of hate, punishment, and sin.

- Then I would rule heaven and Earth side-by-side with Jesus.
