As best as I can track it down; here you go.

Thanks. I saw that too. Unfortunately, the author doesn't provide any details, which is exceedingly odd for a news report. Usually these things are sourced with a location, date, name of encyclical etc.

I don't think the toilet exists, but I will certainly concede the point if any reasonable proof is shown. From what little research I've done, it seems to be one of those circular quotes where everyone is quoting each other without any primary sourcing. The vast majority of the hits of seen on google are from anti-Catholic websites.

Unfortunately, there are many instances of people disregarding the admonishment about bearing false witness in their zeal to discredit the RCC and the Papacy.

It's just a bit weird to me. There's plenty to condemn about the actions of the Vatican, why would someone discredit themselves by promulgating falsehoods? And I'm not specifically referencing this. There's tons of false quotes attributed to Popes and things that are blamed on the Church that it's not responsible for.

Anyway, if you come across a primary source, please let me know.

Thanks,

Eric

Download his recent letter (.PDF) from the actual Vatican and read such. His first words give High praise to ZION and state that that is how we should act, mentions Zacharia Daughter ZION rinding on a Donkey. Oh Boy, what a stack of future promises and what a way to expel the origin of St.Peter.

Thank you for your comments, and the links.

I have not read that particular article in depth, I did
skim it and it is in line with others that I read,
yes I am keeping a close eye on 'Bibi', and 'Francis'.

After all, it is has been a long while in the making;
this new agreement between Israel and The Vatican.
Indeed.

Indeed, both of the articles I referenced are credible enough.
I do not think anyone can get away with turning a blind
eye to the vast wealth that the vatican holds....

Unless of course one worships false gods,
idols, and generally does not care about
hypocrisy, especially where it concerns the poor.

All Marxist rhetoric to distract the masses. Do u really think the Vatican chose him to be Pope so he can destroy them. Don't be so naive.

Yes, I must agree that after the fact finding I did
just within this thread, his words do not match up
to the deeds of the vatican, nor the catholic church.

Sorry to be so suspicious of him, and all but....
giving is a simple thing. Lets see the vatican do it first,
then I will believe his sincerity.

Some throne folks sit on, with gold handled
flushers? Hypocrisy.

If people don't see the hypocrisy of gilded toilets in the "Church" then they are self-blinded.

*hugs and stars old friend*

You need to get up to date

Pope Francis Suspends 'Bishop of Bling'

Under Pope Francis, gilded toilets get you a one way ticket to a monastery to think about your priorities.
