Revolution, maybe? (Alternate title)
It's a revolution, the times at hand
To rally with like minded men
To speak up ,speak out, stand tall, be free
It's a revolution, come fight with me!
The change is me, the time is now
But no one ever tells me how
To make the change, to fight the war
What is it that we're fighting for?
The second amendment, or the fifth?
Our children's future, is that it?
Separation of church and the state?
For freedoms of the human race?
For segregation, procreation
liberation, a race free nation?
Higher wages is a good one too
Which one is it that I should choose?
Pro life, lower taxes, better health
Poverty, mental illness, equal wealth
Maybe I should be against war..
Is that what I should be fighting for?
Save the environment, save the trees
The whales, the tigers, and the bees
And then there's global warming too
Can you see why I'm confused?
Clean energy, Chem trails, equal rights
Abortion, immigration, historical sites
So who gives a damn what we're fighting for
It just doesn't matter anymore
It's plain to see we're all just pissed
It doesn't matter the reason for this
The world is just one messed up place
Or maybe it's the human race?
It's a revolution, the times at hand
To rally with like minded men
To speak up ,speak out, stand tall, be free
It's a revolution, come fight with me!
Thanks,
