Amazing Ison, Encke, Lovejoy, Nevski in Stereo Image, 4 Comet Swarm the Sun!!

Well people keep getting stuff wrong...

C/2012 S1, also known as Comet ISON or Comet Nevski–Novichonok,

Just to clarify, the "Nevski" referred to here is the name of astronomer Vitaly Nevsky, one of the co-discoverers of the famous comet ISON, but also of the newly discovered comet referred to in the post above.

So its 2 comets:
* C/2012 S1, the famous "comet ISON", of which he was co-discoverer in 2012.
and
* C/2013 V3, discovered only a few weeks ago by the same man using the same International Scientific Optical Network (ISON) telescope network.

Thanks for clarifying that. Unfortunate that Ison has been called by his name also so it is confusing some stories.

I can't wait until (if?) ISON is close enough to view with the naked eye. All of the pictures I've seen so far are gorgeous!

Because it is Quicktime, I can't insert movie. This is a nice view of the 2 comets, ISON going left to right and Encke coming down from middle left to right to almost intersect (this view anyway, I know they are millions of kms apart) take a look.
