Some two months after the birth of a new Island in Pakistan following an earthquake, we now have one following a volcanic eruption again.

Pictures released by the Japanese coast guard show a new island forced up by an underwater volcanic eruption in the seas a thousand kilometres south of the capital Tokyo.

Authorities say it is yet too early to determine if the landmass is here to stay.

According to Japanese media, the last time a volcano formed a new island in the area was in the 1970s.

Not that uncommon of course, but there´s some impressive footage of the event:

How interesting this happens after the last months uptick in solar activity and several
other volcanoes waking up all around the same time..

Core heating up ? me thinks so
