I am not for sure if this would be considered a conspiracy, but it is certainly interesting.
I heard about St. Bernadette on Jeopardy so I looked her up.
Here is a picture of her when she died in 1879.
Here is a picture of her in 1997.
Now I will admit that I am not up to par on the way that bodies decompose but given her shape after being dead for 118 years I thought this is
amazing.
I know the way that the body is sealed is important to its condition but
the habit was damp, the rosary rusty and the crucifix had turned green
.
This wasn't exactly prime conditions to maintian a body. The humidity usually adds to the decomposition process, if I am not mistaken.
