##SNIPPED## I decided to publish this new thread today. There's no link, a unique photo, not yet published somewhere at this hour, and with arrows for those hard to see what about !
Consequently, on this sol 424 image, what can be the object in the background, with branches or rays on a plate so, is it part of the pointed rock behind, is a fell sattelite to the ground and what is the small rock in the foreground ? (text with the help of Google Translate).

To be resolved ?

A rock?

Sorry but I don't see anything, not sure I like the idea of a ray on a plate either.

Do you have the source of the image so I can have a better look?

Hey Florentb - looks interesting, but I'd like to get a closer look.

Can you post the link to the source image?

Thanks.

Hello,
I mean a platin a platina, don't find the word, "support where you put discs or electronics"
I think I can have the image reference but may be not, because of a problem i long explain in the removed thread. And i got so many anomalies.
Sure on Sol 424. Despite this i have a crop. In any case it'll have a delay today for that.

Regards.

I would love, more then anything, if any of the pictures of Mars would show that an intelligent life form once inhabited it.

BUT, since these are released from NASA...... Even if they drove the thing downtown alien town, and took pictures of a bunch of topless martians, showing it all for some Jerry beads, we would see nothing but a rock that just happened to look like something we know.

Some know whats up, but I don't think they hang out here... too bad too...

Thanks Gortex.

So... just more rocks then?
That is all I am seeing, rocks, pebbles, sand and a nice background picture. In fact I might use it as my screensaver.

Hi Riffrafter,
It is not sure there are "rays" finally. One shadow may be from the rock at rear and one from the platin itself. Very strange optic image.

It's a good landscape image.

Think, in fact, there are rocks who are not rocks. I am workin' on this.

Nice try but, the simplest explanation is that there is another rock behind the big rock you can see. That would explain the "second shadow", would it not. There is even a similar rock just above and to the right that casts a shadow in a similar fashion.

Sorry to say, but to me, they just look like rocks.....as usual.

Yes indeed,

I wrote this before your post "It is not sure there are "rays" finally. One shadow may be from the rock at rear and one from the platin itself. Very strange optic image."

But your arrows are very good indeed, good software !

Regards.

Dear Aleister,
I go around and see your posts on another topic, very good replies, so i think you can understand what i mean if i say "yes I found something, and give it a name, the name is Staetolma, try to find the name".

Best Regards.

Apologies for any disrespect. It's a knee jerk reaction to say "rocks", so I play with the term sometimes. There is a thread on ancient Indian artwork that I left the one word "Rocks" on earlier, as satire. I come from four years of satire writing to unlax from years of other kinds of writing, so my satire gene is turned on and I use it here too much of the time while still commenting, and the "rock around the clock" thing popped into my mind and, never seeing it said before, thought it was clever and wrote it. That was the process behind that post, so it's nothing against you, and I always come to the Mars threads in hope that something will be found, so please, keep them going. Arken's spine is the best one so far, and inadequately reviewed by professionals in several fields, imnho.
