This “Reclaim America Now” demonstration, which he’s predicted would draw millions of protesters, will “peacefully and ultimately remove the tyrant evil fool in the White House, as well as corrupt Republican leaders like Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.”

I will be attending this "Reclaim America Now" demonstration. I applaud any group to actively engage their 1st amendment rights and right of peaceful assembly. I expect a large turn out; but I doubt if it will draw millions as Klayman hopes but we shall see.
I will be representing my public access TV channel to report accurately and offer an alternative to the MSM. In addition my crew and I will film this gathering, interview attendees, sponsors and promoters for a documentary.

How would any rally, no matter how big, do any of those things? It could be every single Tea Party member that exists and all it would do is get people talking. Do they just expect people to leave office because their view is blocked by "don't tread on me" flags?

Deflecting what? I'm asking a question. How would a rally somehow force people out of office.

There's nothing to deflect. I'd happily give up Obama if it meant Boehner left too... so I'm not exactly against this rally 100%. I'm just asking what's with the puffed up chest claims? Unless you plan to be forceful, you can't accomplish the things he's claiming his rally will do.

I hope this rally gets a ton of media attention. Maybe then people will see the Tea Party for what it really is.

Let's compare the majority of the members of the Tea Party to a small spoiled child:

Willing to throw a tantrum to try to get what they want - Check

Can't compromise to reach an agreement that doesn't give them 100% of what they want - Check

Inability to have respectful dialogue with those they disagree with - Check

Delusions of the future based only on self-centered motives - Check

Belief that everyone agrees with them and exists to give them what they want - Check

Feelings they are owed something - Check

Think that they are always correct and only they know what's right - Check

People already have a pretty good idea where the Tea Party is coming from, hopefully more of these kinds of rallies really drive the point home. I wish someone would tell them to grow up, put on their big boy pants, and join us in the adult world. No, the government isn't perfect, but throwing a tantrum isn't going to get them what they want. I think it will have the opposite effect.

I have to wonder why the Tea Party lets so many nutters speak in their name. I mean I know everybody can not be crazy in that group but, it seems like every crazy person with a microphone claims to be one. The Tea Party needs to seperate its self from the crack pots and start trying to be what it claimed to be at the start. Right now the Tea Party is about as popular in America as a bad case of crabs. And the problem is they let nut bags like this speak for them. What was suppose to fiscaly conservative party has been completely taken over by lunatics.

I submit to you that "nuts", "crack pots" and "lunatics" are in the eyes of the beholder. Someone else may see them as devoted, passionate and strong willed. But, name calling is for 6th grade. It is a part of the problem presently in politics. The founding fathers certainly had diverse political opinions but I don't remember reading about the level of vitriol then that exists today. There's an old legal aphorism that goes, "If you have the facts on your side, pound the facts. If you have the law on your side, pound the law. If you have neither on your side, pound the table." I see a lot of table pounding here.

If you think vitriol is bad today you should go back and read about what used to be said in the early days of our nation. And in this case it is not name calling, their are literaly crazy people who claim to represent the Tea Party. Not people with different political views. People who have mental problems. Literaly.

So the Tea Party is a union? I wonder how many times I can say that in a bar before somebody kicks me in the crotch.

Minority making tons of noise. In the end they're still minority.

I hope the TP people aren't serious, Sarah Palin speaks at these things. SARAH PALIN. I cannot give anyone's opinion value that agrees with her, or anything she stands for. I Agree this country is in a huge mess (duh!) but her and her cronies are not the way to fix it.

The only way this country will ever change, is with a new revolutionary war. Or a coup.
Other than that you will get to bend (over) to the will of the government.

Not at all, which brings to point how wrong the above poster is.

Every group has nutters. The Tea Party has Michelle Bachman and Sarah Palin. The left has Alec Baldwin, Rachel Maddow and their ilk. The Republicans have John McCain and Rush Limbaugh, etc. All nutty. All have freedom of speech.

In what may be the first ever truly accurate prediction on ATS, I predict it won't draw millions of people and won't change a single thing.

I'm proud to be a union member. Without it I would have no retirement, no healthcare, and no recourse if hurt on the job. We have a long long waiting list of people wanting to get into www.sagaftra.org...

I also belong to this one. Also a very, very long waiting list. btw...you just can't join because you want to; it takes training, sponsorship and skill. www.iatse-intl.org...

btw...your Messiah Rush Limbaugh is a union member....
