George Zimmerman has been arrested in Orlando, FL after cops were called to a domestic incident at a residence ... TMZ has learned.

Cops are not releasing details -- but there are reports Zimmerman was involved in a situation involving his girlfriend.

According to USA Today - he is 'in custody' and they also said -

The Orlando Sentinel reported that Zimmerman was en route to the Seminole County Jail in Sanford, according to Sheriff Don Eslinger. The Sentinel said it was not clear what happened or what crime he's accused of committing.

WESH-TV reported that Zimmerman was accused of domestic violence by a girlfriend in the unincorporated area of Apopka.

Hundreds are arrested every day in this country for domestic violence. No one usually cares. But once a celebrity(a media fabricated celebrity in this case) gets involved.....

WESH-Channel 2 reported that Zimmerman was accused of domestic violence by a girlfriend.

The Sheriff's Office, in a short news release, reported that the agency had arrested Zimmerman after being called to a disturbance on Topfield Court in western Seminole County near Apopka about 1 p.m.

Zimmerman's new girlfriend, a 27-year-old blonde, lives in the 1300 block of Topfield Court, according to an unrelated Lake Mary police report.

Guess ol George should just settle his butt down for a spell, he must know that he will never be free. One good Samaritan act would never change those out to make sure their sentence is served no matter what the courts had decided. His days as a free man were numbered the day he walked out of jail and no one can change the way the public has cried out for his actions to be avenged according to the peoples jury.

Makes sense. In Florida you go to jail for domestic violence but get off scott free when you chase down and confront then kill a kid.

Everytime we turn around, someone is trying to get Zimmerman for ANYTHING..

He was lied about since the beginning of the saga. I believe he is being attacked, and lied about again..

On July 13, Zimmerman was acquitted of second-degree murder by a six-person jury.

Since the acquittal, Zimmerman has had several run-ins with law enforcement. He was stopped for speeding in Texas about two weeks after his acquittal. And in September, police were called to the home of his estranged wife, Shellie, after she told a police dispatcher that he threatened her with a gun. No charges were filed in that incident.

Oh he was speeding, OMG!! Oh he threatened little ol' me with a gun! No charges filed ONLY because there was no crime.. This guy is being harassed out of existent, and it is not right.

Trying to find any little thing to bring Zimmerman in is an obvious attempt of not letting the man live his life.
Since he IS GUILTY in the COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION, and naaaaancy grace..

So he also didn't get arrested in 2005 for getting into a scuffle with cops? Was that he ex-wife's fabrication too?
