I was just eating pasta when...

I started thinking about some things. Like...my kids saying.. "OMG Mum, pasta and butter and salt and pepper is your favourite meal?"

yes it is one of my favourites. They hate taking me out to dinner. I am that simple they think I am complicated...

I was just pigging out on the pasta tonight for dinner and I remembered a real moment in my life when in about 2009 I decided to live in my car with my Dog Mr Albert and we just cruised around and were free to go wherever we wanted...well I ended up way out bush and lit a campfire and made myself some pasta and it was a real moment.

I even shared it with Mr Albert.

Every now and then, I just feel the need to get in my wagon and drive towards the sunset

It was so great. I am starting to feel the need to go wandering again.
lol

My favorite pasta meal as well.....can't beat it.

Funny ... I just posted on a thread about making homemade pasta.

My daughter and I used to make our own spaghetti and egg noodles.

We had lots of fun in the kitchen ... and the noodles were FANTASTIC ....

Making pasta is fun. I liked doing it when the granddaughter was around. To make it by yourself isn't nearly as fun.

You seem to feel good when you teach your kids something essential instead of the stuff that they will rarely ever need. I was never even informed that pasta could be made in bachelor living in highschool and was never taught that pasta could be made by my parents. I never even realized that homemade noodles tasted so much better.
