OMG, I have felt so helpless all day, just sickened and sad for something I had not yet put in perspective. That picture says it all. I pray for and feel deeply for the people who have been struck by this terrible and deadly storm. So much we do not yet know but collectively we all sense. It has traveled across such a large section of the United States and still continues to roll like a train off the tracks. This will surely cross the Big Atlantic Pond and create even more damage in the next few days. It has to be connected to the solar cycles and the geomagnetic forces.

*Apologies for the Rhetoric*

I rarely post to FB, but I thought I would give everyone I know a heads-up.

Not even one comment after I posted a linked and warning, but people are talking about sugarplum fairies, and gumdrops.

No wonder this nation can get the wool pulled over it's eyes, and people only react after something major happens.

Oh well at least they were warned.

Peace,

RT

This photo shows the path of the tornado in Washington, Illinois

At least 2 dead in Illinois as tornadoes, thunderstorms pound Midwest

The community of Washington in central Illinois appeared particularly hard-hit. Around 30 people were injured in Washington and nearby East Peoria, said Police Chief Brian Fengel at the Bartonville Police Department. He said the exact number and extent of injuries were not yet known.

We made it fine. No distractions needed. Luckily, for us, it wasn't nearly the storm that was predicted.

Getting pretty dark here in the middle of hellinois. Weather channel just said 80mph winds expected.

The good news????? It's 70 fricking degrees!

Off to do some yard work. I'll snap some pics if it gets ugly.

Has KR checked in after this post? Prayers that you are safe tonight. I am sorry.

Yeah I live about 5 minutes north of the border between Indiana and Michigan. It's gonna be a good one.

Thats Michigan weather for ya. Thunderstorms and possible tornadoes with less than 2 weeks until December.

i remember having 3 or 4 snow days already by this time of the year when I went to grade school.

Are you ok? Check in with us.

I know, this is not our first storm thread my friend and in fact we have been together in several very horrible situations. I really am happy that you are safe, hope all your loved ones and friends are as well. so many people are being forced into a totally new paradigm through weather disasters these past few years and I fear the worst has yet to come. I recall a bunch of heartless people making fun of those who 'chose' to live in the path of these types of events when in fact what was once rare and isolated has become so wide spread that really no where is safe anymore in that regard.
