SEVERE WEATHER ALERT - Tornado Outbreak Possible in Midwest U.S

The line won't get to us until probably 2AM. It should be strong enough to pull down the rest of the fall leaves and provide some needed rain. But we should escape the tornados this time.

Side story - I was in a November tornado back in 1991 or 1992 (can't remember) ... we were driving down highway 65 in Alabama and had to stop under a highway bridge and tuck ourselves way up under the bridge because we got caught in a tornado. It went right over us .... roof tops blowing under the bridge ... loud ... everything going one way and then going the other ..... wild ride. I ended up covered in mud and lost my shoes ....

Been in tons of tornados but that was the most spectacular .

1130 AM: Heads up to Streator IL. Large, damaging tornado on the ground will arrive in your area between 1150 & 12. Seek shelter now!

1140 AM: Confirmed large tornado ON THE GROUND in Dana, everyone in Rutland, Long Point, near Streator take cover IMMEDIATELY!

Storm is moving at 60 MPH. Get to safe ground if you're in that path. I'm just East of Joliet in Tinley Park, so I will likely be in the path of the tornado (if it holds together) around 1pm

For some reason, I cannot get the Weather Channel TorCon page to copy and paste (today of all days!) but the TorCon numbers are stunning. Its IL IN OH in bullseye w/possible high winds in wPA as well. Huge swath in advisory and tornadoes ON THE GROUND in IL right NOW.

Unusual but NOT unheard of in November.

Worst feeling in the world is knowing that there is a chain of tornado's just west of you and you know the storm will be arriving very soon.... Sigh, I hate this..

Just read 63,000 plus at Soldiers Field and that it takes 15-20 minutes to evacuate stands into concourse and tunnel areas. Please let them be EVACUATING THE STANDS RIGHT NOW...awful bands moving in from west.
