Yup; the rational mind only has one answer; don't take power
away from it. Funny thing that.

But then again, actually jumping into the unknown is the
one thing that people talk about the loudest and are the
least likely to do.

Perhaps you are thinking that I'm trying to be clever or
convince you of something? Not at all. It makes no
difference to me what anyone does or thinks or becomes.
I'd prefer that enough people would become honest and
compassionate to break humans out of their death
spiral. But that's just a preference. I'll do my own small
part and keep doing it. How it all turns out remains to
be seen.

Most people with 'Asperger's syndrome' either
can't lie, or are such terrible liars that there
is no point in even trying.

But I choose to tell the truth even if it will
cost me dearly. It has many times.. but
I have no regrets. Frankly learning to stop
lying to oneself and to others is in fact
a powerful practice that leads to much
personal growth.

That's what Advaita Vedanta people do.. and also followers of
Jed McKenna and other New Age teachers.. and it has a certain
point to it.

However finding (as Jed McKenna calls it) "Human Adulthood";
now that is a worthy goal.. that's a hard one. It's what you
do AFTER moving past all 'human form'. If you want. It is
optional of course.

btw, yesterday, i saw a comic called 'Boxer and Saints'
the story is about boxer rebellion that was happened in China a long time ago.
so the boxers called 'the spirit' to possess them to make them powerful enough to fight their enemies, (it was said that some of them were immune to bullets)

i tried to research more about it and found the wiki about it:

imho, it sounds like channeling. Maybe those exorcism cases where people were 'possessed' actually was just a form of channeling, only that they channel 'bad' entities?

I've heard that story before. Also some Native Americans
had the same belief about their rituals. The bullets ripped
them apart rather handily, unfortunately. Now the mental
image of bullet-proof Indians who can't be hurt by the
invaders genociding them sounds appealing to me.. ah well
sometimes 'cold hard reality' is more real.

As for possessions.. I'd say that 99.9% percent are not real..
just mental problems.. but I've seen 4 real ones in my
life... but even in those cases I didn't see too much that
I'd call 'supernatural'. A parrot having coherent religious
discussions and some glowing read eyes in the possessed
and other minor things. The one sudden attempted suicide
on the part of an otherwise very grounded and stable person
was the thing that was the most terrifying to me personally.

In my experience, 'the supernatural' is quite real, but
generally the ways people talk about it is missing the
mark, and 99% of those who claim to be experiencing
it are not.

maybe the possession is just some altered state of their consciousness? Only that it went the wrong way and 'damaged' their minds?

Not especially.. mummify the
head and cut off the arms and legs
and mummify what's left too..

I'm sure that "Ra" can look like
whatever it wants to look like
in most circumstances.. an
angel.. a demon... a prophet
.. a messiah .. a god.. an 'alien'
a UFO .. cheese sandwich or
a blessed virgin.. anything..

In 1981 I went to confront a black magician who was giving a lecture in front of 10000 people.

I got to within 20 feet of him and saw with shamanic vision that he was possessed with a powerful parasite. The parasite hit me with a powerful spiritual attack. So I pulled the parasite out of the mans body and held it inside of my core being in order to purify it or if it wasnt fully alive to destroy it.

The black magician threw back his head and screamed in agony for some thing like 10 seconds then screamed "there is resistance" then ran full s peed in terror out of the building.

That man has never done that any other time that I know of. His entire social movement was crushed after that. That parasite was Ra and I swallowed him and attempted to digest him for 2 days.
