Yay for the Vikings!

They have come to rescue me from my lack of doom porn.

I hope they aren't full of crap like all of the previous doom predictors.

I have been into town today and i have to say the Vikings are looking decidedly cheerful considering there isn't long left. Must be all lot that beer drinking and axe / sword swinging releasing some endorphins.

Either that or they are looking forward to slaughtering the Saxons at the weekend and having a jolly old boat burning to finish it off.

I hope the day after tomorrow comes and I'm not left thinking

If you look closely, you can see a small silhouette of Odin's profile in the clouds emerging form behind a flag on the right of the screen at the very beginning. There is a tree on the left, and the silhouette creeps out from behind the flag closest to the tree as the camera pans rightward onto Ragnar Lodbrok's face. I don't know if it was intentional or not.

The show "Vikings" was slated to begin season 2 on the 27th of this month - hard luck that Ragnarok comes today, and it won't get to air...

Just my luck - caught in a foreign place without my battle axe or sword or spear (yeah, I've got 'em - just not here) on the day of Ragnarok! No Valhalla or fighting with Odin on the last day for me! Bummer.
