I've checked with Stellarium, and it's the same as for everybody else in the world - ISON rises in the East approximately 1hr before dawn.

Using TheSky6Pro I followed ion tail out to star GSC 4956:539 to get a a click distance between position of the comet and GSC 4956:539 or tail length of 03° 02' 10" with Position angle PA ~= 297 degrees as measured to middle of initial part of tail.
From geo center MPC ephemeris
earth distance delta 0.891 AU
solar distance r 0.584 AU
phase 81.3 degrees
gives corrected tail length of 7215910 km or 0.04824 AU

Considering the tail is supposedly over 7million km long, and providing it doesn't disintegrate. Do you think we'll we'll be able to see a curved tail as it goes round the Sun?
I don't know at what angle we'll be looking at it, whether it'll be totally back-lit by the Sun / invisible.
