This is a song that is close to my heart and hope if you listen to the lyrics you will find something in it. It's not the usual Led Zeppelin song but it reminds me of the good times when I was a lot younger.

I never heard that recording before and to see it and hear it was awesome!!!!

I can NEVER remember hearing the flutes at the beginning of this song EVER! Eerie yet beautiful at the same time!

I just sat here listening to it wishing I could be Walter Bishop, tripping........lol

My oldest son, 8yo, heard it for the first time about an hour ago...

What a coincidental synchronicity... lol

Greatest Rock ballad ever! When one of the radio stations started up here, they played 24 hours of 'Stairway to Heaven'. I love that song.

I have always had a suspicion that Aleister Crowley wrote the words as a poem for a woman named Sybil Leek and perhaps Page found them in his castle ?

It remind me when I was younger and my older bro was going out with his girlfriend and I was staying at his house until he came back.
I raided his music collection and found this song and 'borrowed' his cassette tapes but left the covers so that he didn't notice till later he he

I used to have an 8 track player but it only played Johnny Cash when I was driving trucks, so I ended up throwing it out the window!
I used to tape from the radio using mics and thought it was brilliant until every so often, the player would chew the tapes up!
Now I just use USB which are so small they are no bigger than your little finger nail and hold 32gig and plugs into my car system. How times have changed.
