I'm Waiting? When Is the PROVERBIAL stuff GOING to HIT the FAN?

The Blackout drill was supposed to be today, I thought and I don't see anything going on. Anyone have an idea when and where this is supposed to go down? Are they going to cut the power somewhere or are the just pretending? Is this going to be like the other supposed drills where the actual thing happens at the time they are practicing the responses?

I am just curious what the opinion is of others on ATS...Please, share

I concur sir.
Anyone who doesn't think it's already hit the fan hasn't been paying attention for the last four decades.
It's becoming a trend that people feel an absence of urgency simply because nothing brown and smelly has splattered all over their face yet but all one has to do is look around with eyes denied to them by the MSM's constant program of state propaganda to see what's really going on...

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

In my estimation, we are at the "Jew" part of the poem in our repeat slide to tyranny.

First they came for the Muslims, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Muslim.

Then they came for the Gun Owners, and I did not speak out--
Because I did not own a gun.

Then they came for the Constitutionalists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Constitutionalist.

So youve realized the great truth. Its always "gonna be on..."...and "just wait until...." and the secret? Youve just found out. It never is. Will it be someday? Sure. Will it be tomorrow? doubtful.

The older you get...the more of these things you see passing without coming true...you'll come to realize that we should just live our lives and dont worry about the predictions, prophecies etc.

Just always be prepared for you yourself, and family for things you can see could happen someday. Always a good idea for general preparedness!

I remember back in the 80's when in grade school there was something I considered FREEDOM altering happening to America. The SEATBELT law. To me, this was a SEED of TYRANNY planted very early.

Look at what this law did for cops, they had another reason to pull over and shake people down.

Plus, how free can a guy? he has to wear a seatbelt by LAW, not choice.. Excuse me, but I should be free to wear a belt in my own vehicle or not.. right?

and then the window tint laws! this is intertwined with the seatbelt law.. ffs.

people have to be exposed to harmful UV rays that damage skin, cause skin cancer, etc.. not to mention how dumb a car looks when all the windows are black except the from 2. The ONE where PEOPLE RIDE THE MOST.. ffs!

All in the "FREE' country.. indeed... the SHTF,, and the hippies chose SEX, DRUGS, ROCK and ROLL!.(boomers)..or .. busy bible thumping (geezers). thanks guys!

So when I was asking about the Blackout and possible scenarios, I was hoping for more information like this, instead of the nonsense I did get...Perhaps some of you might enjoy reading what this could mean and the possible effects are for you and your family and friends should it happen.

The following material is grim, very grim. Let me get the dramatics out of the way in the very beginning. If a nation-wide EMP attack ever takes place in America, given our present level of preparedness, it will prove to be the most cataclysmic event in human history.

This is an article that I did not want to write. However, it is an article which represents completely known information but is normally not available outside academic and government sponsored conferences. I have synthesized and simplified much of the research in the hope of making the material understandable and useful to the general public.

Many authors who would write such an article would be immediately accused of fear-mongering. In this instance, I believe there is much to fear. Short of a 3 mile-wide asteroid landing n the ocean, I cannot think of a more devastating event than an EMP attack. If anything, the scenarios I present are on the very conservative side.
