ROME (RNS) The Vatican said it would display for the first time bones believed to be the mortal remains of St. Peter, the leader of Jesus’ 12 apostles, to mark the end of the Year of Faith, Nov. 24.

This was allowed for the 1st time in history by pope Francis.

Can this be related with last pope prophecy - "Peter the Roman" ?

It would be nice if these 'church authorities' also displayed the original texts they bear in their 'secret vaults' regarding Christ, confiscated in order to malign from the original Truth movement for purpose of introducing their own perversions.

Rulerships planted upon devils foundations--hence why they are allowed their 'great palaces of power' to keep subverting as evil desires. And all they offer here for their adherents is useless bones. Very fitting for all those dead works based upon a 'holy' front. Sorry for ranting, but this 'religious mafia' really grinds on my gears as the unsaintly Peter from Family Guy would say.

Pope Francis is changing many things on church, step-by-step.

These bones are truly a blessed relic, this man ate, spoke with and was appointed the rock upon which our lord chose to build his church, He was also a very human man whom suffered for our lord, if it is god's will then let non stand in the way and let it come to pass as the alternative is far more grim.

Pope Francis is changing many things on church, step-by-step.

His work is to win hearts and minds like most politicians, (though some are appointed to play 'bad cop' also). The platform served will be revealed ultimately by what will arise, though I respect you and your will in hope.

I would respect the Vatican position if they were to truly 'follow Christ' by HIS Instruction of not gathering material treasures and distributing the great bulk of the Catholic apparatus wealth to the truly needy and impoverished. If the Pope as 'leader' (just a ruse) was to ever dare to attempt such a 'movement' though, his handlers that manipulated his place at the 'top' would surely reward him with the JFK treatment- or maybe a dose of poison like old times.

Please understand also, I judge not this man, nor any other personally for all are here prey to manipulative forces until Redeemed from this prison planet.

Doubt it.

The church displays relics often. And they only just recently (last few decades) became aware that those are the relics of St. Peter so there wasn't much of an opportunity to display them previously.

One step at a time. It`s only a few months he was elected and you know there are very strong forces to fight inside church before he can do what he really wants to do.

The Catholic Church is the "Great Whore" of Revelation 17(KJV).

The Catholic establishment are currently working towards a reformation with the Orthodox branches. It will eventually see to 'church' roots returning to Isis-ra-el (to fulfill prophecy as intended). This is where the usurping whore of Babylon (false god) will reside to receive worship via temple sacrifice again at an unholy altar.
