Right, I get your grumpy little points, sorry that using "fugly" upset you for some reason---not sure why because I really did choose a word that I thought encompasses the trashiness of the situation. Just because your 12 year old sister uses it because she watches tv a lot (I assume this is where you get the idea that I am a child?) Many old people like me understand the origins of mainstream slang---researching this might interest you.

I posted this in secret societies for a reason--I believe that the Masons are somewhat of a front (one of MANY mind you) for the Illuminati (music industry mafia, TPTB, whatever you will). The checkboard boots reminded me of masonry which reminded me of masons which reminded me that she's a pawn for TPTB. I understand black and white is a pattern used by many---thats why I didn't say Miley was a rudeboy or a penguin; I specified for the conversation I was trying to start. Honestly, if you think its a "wrong" conclusion why bother commenting? Snarkiness with no message does not a contribution make.

Tupac was murdered when he figured out the societies he was involved in, plain and simple. Biggie I'm not so sure about, but they are both esoterically represented as musical martyrs; Esoterically however, I was curious as to the many other meanings helpful people have pointed out.

Sorry you missed the point, if you have something to add that'd be awesome. Didn't see proof for you either, brother. If you feel I'm just speculating, tell me how? Feedback is how we learn---meaningless criticism makes one not care to understand.

I agree with a lot of point you make, and I think maybe my presentation of the topic did not encourage the intelligent discussion I had intended---again, however, I thank you for your metered response.

My intent was to discuss the possible symbols within the picture; I don't feel the need to bash her as I genuinely think she's just a puppet---a way to send symbols for those who have either grown up reading them properly,or retaught themselves how to read the world recently.

I agree with you---this thread is more proof of how the conspiracy manifests rather than the methods through which is works. Still, learned something.

Tupac told his story to people who already knew it. He missed out on putting forth a coherent public appeal for the cycle he was decrying by hiding his message deep in the metaphors and analogies seen in hip hop lyrics. Thus, the only real audience he left for himself was the same people he was singing about.

I don't buy "musical activists" unless they are singing to a crowd that isn't involved in that which they are being activsts for. This is known as "preaching to the choir".

I think Pac caught himself out there, near the end. But I also think that is why he HAD to end; he was waking up and threatening to wake up the mainstream hiphop community/

I had to double check that i was still on ATS while reading this thread. For a minute i thought i was reading posts on yahoo news of jealous 16 year old girls bashing Miley. Nope, it is ATS..... and it is Miley.... shame on us.... this is ATS! Ridiculous is all i can say

I mean to make my responses as non-judgmental as possible, and the fact that you learned from it is the reason why I don't feel that this website acts solely as a means to propagate conspiracy and anxiety

When looking at a picture like that and contemplating the motives behind the symbolism etc (because we all know there is a team behind every celebrity, making them into a transmitter of many messages by just being captured on film..) I feel like anyone can learn something by just thinking honestly with themselves "how does this make me feel"? and act accordingly.
Since I have to know who she is and at least have that "trouble trouble trouble" crap stuck in the back of my brain involuntarily, I say that I feel more-or-less justified in getting out that angst in the form of ATS ranting haha.

I couldn't have said it any better!!! Apparently there are some people who cannot be nice on ATS. It is ridiculous and people around here need to grow up. There are so many other better things to talk about then what Miley is wearing, or how she choreograph her videos.

She is awesome and I loved her video with the wrecking ball. She is beautiful and she isn't ashamed of it. That is awesome as well!!!

Wow. Okay I have my doubts about your attention span, but please try to stick with me to the end . I don't think you could come to a conclusion at all if you couldn't jump so far. I think Miley is being silly, and going through that phase most girls go through where they recognize their sexual power. I don't think she is doing it very well, but because of her job she is botching it in a very public way. She will probably come to regret it when she is older. But so what?

I do think that as a society we are still very threatened by female sexual power and even just female sexual license; which then fuels this absurd, obsessive, verbally violent shaming response against it. Yet another aspect of that is that when someone gives a moderate perspective, neither condoning her actions or condemning her for them, it is met with an accusatory and inflammatory response. One milquetoast comment that Miley is being silly, and the response is sexually charged, mud slinging. Interesting... This perfectly illustrates just how messy the impulses and drives are behind this hatred of this girl, and how threatening she is to some people. The action does not justify the response, not with Miley, and not with me. But mob mentality is what it is, and people get defensive when you spoil their self righteous fun in social witch hunts. I guess I should have seen it coming, although I was a little surprised by the porn bit.

For the record, I am a 36 year old woman with a 13 year old daughter, so yes there is a lot of talk about Miley Cyrus in this house. I actually used the VMA performance as an example of what not to do. It is the wrong thing to do to try to get attention, and certainly a distasteful way to display her sexuality. Miley can get a way with it because she is a performer with a bevy of body guards to keep people away from her. For my daughter however, she does not have that buffer between her and all of those people out there (such as yourself) that see such sexual displays in young women as so threatening that they may respond in a way that is hurtful, emotionally harmful, or in a worst case scenario even physically dangerous for my daughter.

The point of this thread is to encourage people to say what a bad person Miley is, in horrid, shameful ways, with a little bit of wild speculation thrown in about the illuminati because... it is a conspiracy site after all I guess. This is not an effort to encourage thoughtful discourse about... well anything really. (Although I will do my best). I still say this is a stupid, shallow awful thread; and as an aside, in your case specifically psychological projection is a bugger.

I understand you completely. We are simply on different ends of the thing. For example you call it sexual power or whatever and I call it burlesques. You call it silly I call it the unfrozen fire. lol And naturally you don't see calling it silly, a phase and a display of sexual power a psychological projection. FYI that's precisely what I was thinking of you.

I didn't even know who she was till a few months ago. Her dance and mannerisms imho perfectly reflect a child who has been molded by the entertainment industry (with bizarre initiations and ongoing rituals, not to mention drugs) and is acting out sexually the main avenues of abuse (twerking (favored entry point) and tongue). What I find most telling in the circulating vids is when she is being escorted thru crowds/take a look at her face shots/she's a walking zombie and looks totally lost. She is put on stage and performs on cue. Once she is thoroughly exploited she will be found doa/usually drug overdose. The level of mind control that goes on in the entertainment industry is extensive. Those that are made into stars get there by submitting to imho horrific things. By the time they get to the submission they have been so drugged and brainwashed they no longer think for themselves.

Miley for me is a study in this process. I feel for her as I feel for all mind controlled slaves. It has to be such a wretched existence.

Plus I'm not sure if her tongue is purposefully coated for her performances/if not she has massive liver issues for starters. When I search Miley coated tongue nothing comes up it's intentionally for the performance/and multiple discussions about what the heavy coating means health wise. She is a very sick young lady imho.
