NY Post blames NY Times "Obama cheerleading harms the nation"

Is this a spectacular case of the pot calling the kettle black or rivals begin eating each other? The New York Post has blamed the New York Times for "cheerleading" Obama and harming the nation. It appears that Obamacare was the final straw for the NY Post.

The Obama Protection Racket, led by the Times, cuts both ways. It is a key reason he has defied political gravity for so long, and also why he is now in deep trouble. As watchdogs became lapdogs, the presidential bubble grew impenetrable, isolating him from ordinary Americans and the trickle-down pain of his policies.

From the broadcast networks to MSNBC and most large papers, Obama got the benefit of every doubt. The double standards were a daily disgrace so routine, they mostly provoked a shrug instead of outrage.

The mainstream media is acting only because the story is too big to ignore. Had it been mildly skeptical sooner, it could have exposed the law’s destructive rules and prevented the disaster.

The episode graphically illustrates how the Times has harmed the nation by reflexively protecting Obama, facts be damned.

Instead of just expressing its own liberal views, the editorial page serves as the propaganda arm of the administration, the Jay Carney of print media. Its daily drumbeat of shrill partisanship leaves it indistinguishable from Dem party hacks who spend their waking hours demonizing Republicans.

The ritual is distressingly clear. Any White House claim that a critic is “political” sends the Times to war.

To be fair I did a search on the NY Post stories on Obamacare and found pages of stories calling out the shortfalls. Which caused me to do a search on "Tea Party," "Ted Cruz," and "Rand Paul." I honestly found the results surprising. Check for yourself if interested.

I agree. Its one thing to be liberal, but to whitewash history to keep obama in power is despicable. It might as well be north korean propaganda and some folks belong in jail. I guess this is what happens when you have liberals and conservatives hating on each other and disagreeing about everything. Bias takes over and you want to exterminate your opponent. Truth becomes completly irrellevant!

This was inevitable and a true sign of the chosen one falling out of favor. The finger pointing will get worse and what entertainment it will be.

Maybe the O-bots will turn on him but you have to wonder. Admitting error doesn't seem to be a trait the progressives possess.

They're already setting up for the Hillary extravaganza anyway. Doubtful any of them will learn from these mistakes.

So they did find someone worse.
And they will be putting all of the problems on Obama and giving Hillary credit for all positive (if any) things that go on.

The real sad part about Obama is that the left got all of the really bad stuff started under Obama but now he'll be the unwritten excuse for only nominating wealthy white candidates from now on.

The left has manipulated the black vote for generations and thanks to politics blacks are worse off than ever.

The real liberals and progressives, of the non-globalist type, will probably flock to the green party or maybe even some socialist party. One has to be borderline braindead to keep voting the same way after what obama did.

But of course one could say the same thing about conservatives. After what bush jr did many still voted for romney as the lesser of evil. Well I will admit that ron paul got cheated severly in the primaries, but I dont understand why libertarians only got .99% of the vote.

Liberals and progressives are not the problem, as so many seem to think, it is the globalist nwo agenda.

Do you remember Occupy and what its mission was? FIght wall street corruption, stop outsourcing away jobs, increase taxes on the rich just to name a few.

We know that but the average voter doesn't see him that way. The media doesn't portray him that way.
Remember when he was first elected. Black people actually thought that they were going to be better off because they had a black president.

As much as the media and the left has protected Obama, the fact is that when Hillary steps up as a candidate the left will rip Obama to shreds. He will get the blame for everything and the establishment will be declared innocent in everything they did for 8 years.

They get to use Obama twice. He's black so if you don't vote for him you are a right wing racist lunatic. Once he's done with his 8 years the left will blame him for the entire mess.

When the media becomes more concerned with the battle between themselves.."Left vs. Right", then it does Informing the public, me & you, it's a clear sign of failure. If it is designed that way to keep people split & make them care about the same fight then it is a clear sign that we are Screwed. Vince McMahon would be proud. Our media is now the WWE, good vs. bad, your core beliefs determine which is which.

I said before when it's a Republican in office you look to the liberal leaning news for a better picture of the actual state of our country. When a democrat is in office you look to the Right leaning news for the same. It's sad that it works that way but we The People continue to accept a smoke screen as our press.

I think JFK tried to warn us about this in a speech shortly before he was assassinated. Did you know the phrase "Conspiracy Theorist" not the word Conspiracy but that phrase C.Teory was created and spread by our media after his death. Since many people did not buy the official story the media turned those folks into Nuts who they called Conspiracy Theorist. If that alone don't spell out how brainwashed they want us then nothing will.
