Hi and welcome to ATS.Animals are the best thing about this world:-) my family and myself are Great Dane fanatics,and we adore our kittyluuurves-cats and dogs are essential to us. Where we live,out in nature,is really nice,in that there is a vast variety of birdlife-and we get to see zebras almost every time we go to the store for bread+milk,which is excellent.We live up next to a small private game reserve,actually.Sometimes we visit an affordable one about 70 clix from us,if it were not for the horrific price of petrol,we'd go far more often-last weekend we went,to see some big cats for a change.We see apes,antelopes and zebras often right here at home.Anyway,enjoy ATS,nice to meet you

A nice intro. There are lots of threads here about strange animals, beautiful animals, resourceful animals, and I even put up a thread once asking which animal would win the events at the Olympics if they were open to all species. And as a vegan I'm with you on the animal loving thing.

I too am an animal lover and have had many beautiful pets throughout the years, many of which were rescues. I just lost my beloved persian kitty this week and my heart is still broken.
