So I have a couple quick questions..

I saw an old thread with a post by an Anonymous ATS account.....

is the Anonymous ATS account still active? Is it still something people can use to post in ATS?

I believe that is an actual member. Not just an anonymous account.

ETA: It is an odd account, though.

Incorrect.

It was an anonymous account that was enabled for guests and members to post materials on the site without association to their username. As far as I'm aware it is no longer in use however.

As Shugo said, once upon a time there was a way to post anonymously, so you could say things that wouldn't come back to haunt your usual account. It didn't last very long compared to other changes to the boards, and it's not active anymore.
