Where do you get the figure of one or two million hebrews from? Please do share.

Pretty sure I already did. Somewhere on the 13 pages of this thread are estimates from different historical/archeological/sociological sources. Some place the estimates as low as 600,000 Hebrews leaving Egypt. Others place it at two million after having a generation of babies in the desert.

It certainly wasn't just a handful. At least, not according to the bible. Numbers 2:32

If the Exodus happened, I bet this guy was involved somehow:

en.wikipedia.org...

He invented monotheism and built a city to this One-god. Time is also about right. He was the king of Nefertiti, father of Tutankamon and the son of Amanhotep III and Tiye. His oldest brother and the crown prince was named Tutmose. Sounds like Moses to me....

Akhenaten was a younger son of Amenhotep III and Chief Queen Tiye. The eldest son, Crown Prince Thutmose, was recognized as the heir of Amenhotep III but he died relatively young and the next in line for the throne was a prince named Amenhotep.
(from the Wikipedia article above)

This has come up in discussion elsewhere so I'm bumping this thread for the folks to see. Still no evidence that exodus ever really happened as the bible claims.
