Would you rather live in China, Nazi Germany, or in the US in 2016?

When my Mandarin teacher was here she said she had to put up a lot of money (like her house) as a form of insurance so she would come back. Her husband was a Dr in China.
She was maybe 30.. invited me over for a traditonal chinese meal once. I was smitten for a bit, buuut ill never see her again. Now I'm rambling. Its weird though knowing you will never see someone ever again.

I'd rather live in the US 2016. Lets be real (but ill be moving to South America before 2030
)

This hypothetical scenario where Obama's administration manages to rewrite the laws to be re-elected for a third time and somehow wins and his fascist regime has been put into full motion. You get to pick where you want to live but you only have 3 choices. Those choices are China, Nazi Germany and a world where Obama continued to rule passed 2016. Which one do you pick? The one thing you cannot do (or anyone) is change how the governments worked and who's in there, so no rebellion is allowed in this scenario but standard warfare continues as business.

You now have to choose between Communist, Socialist, and Fascist. What is your pick and why?

You may be wondering why I'm asking this crazy question, but I'm interested in hearing thoughts around ATS. This is under the assumption that the US becomes a complete police/surveillance state. Please be civil!

Over exaggerate much, I think you listen a bit to much to right wing talk shows there buddy. If your so eager to leave this great country then get the hell out, no one is stopping you. Take your stupid tin foil hats with you.

Nazi Germany obviously...

say what you like about those crazy fascists but there is no denying they have a sense of humor

Ok , seriously if i actually had to choose i would pick Russia.... it's such a massive place that it would be fairly easy to disappear into the wilderness and avoid civilisation altogether until i inevitably succumb to exposure which in my mind is preferable to the other options you presented

Well it's a tough one..
Because having a black liberal president is indeed EXACTLY like
having Mao or Hitler or any other genocidal maniac as a leader.

How about this ?
Would we rather live in Jackson Mississippi
or Seattle Washington ?
Republican Mississippi vs Liberal Washington ?
No contest.

In fact, can anyone name just one
known Republican vacation destination
that's at the top of anyone's list?
Dallas Texas ? Houston ?
Charlotte North Carolina ? Tallahassee Florida ?
Anyone? Nah...

It's all liberal places you visit when youre on vacation.
LA, NYC , Seattle , Austin, Miami, San Francisco, New Orleans,
Portland, San Diego. Sure you'll fly into Phoenix but then you drive straight to
Sedona...All blue cities, even in Red States. Why ?
Real personal freedom for one, not the bs the TP swills,
then its Art, Music and Food.
You know the things Republicans cut first from any budget.
Enjoy Houston !

That's a bit better clarification, thank you. I don't think that Nazi Germany was socialist, it was pretty fascist. We currently live in the USA under a democratic form of socialism, so even if the scenario were to change with a wild takeover by Obushton, I'd stay in the USA, it will still take time to transform into total fascism. Almost no governing system changes overnight. Since it won't happen and we have another election, I'll choose that. Try posing this question in China or Nazi Germany and see how far you'd....? Where'd you go?
