X3.4 Solar Flare happening now

Seems we just had an X1.1 flare. It appears to be earth directed but it could mostly go under us.

Sunspots come and sunspots go. Not that their appearances are not interesting to take note of but be patient a day or so and this one will have passed and another will appear at some point in the very near future. Are we all expected to get ourselves into a flap just because this one is larger than the previous? I don't think so. Some people who allow their imaginations to run riot on the most flimsy pretext want us all to join in with them. I see there are several ready partakers on ATS for this kind of inanity. Is this what it has come down to? Excuse me if I decline the opportunity.
