Police and SWAT teams were reported on the scene, with some stores in lockdown.

WPIX 11 reported the shooting occurred about 9:30 pm on the second level near a Nordstrom’s department store.

lots of cops just sitting around. Local news is on reporting it.
My older sister goes to this mall. I've been there a few times. Lots of entrances. Would be easy to get in and out. I wouldn't be surprised if the perp got away.

I NEVER said I would do that... I said IF SOMEONE around their was ever going to rob a store, right now would be the time to do it!!! All the cops are at the mall.. Who's going to be on your tail? Those chain gas stations will not let employees have guns hit up 3-4 of them you could rack up thousands with minimal risk.

To be honest, I thought you meant a store in the mall, since they would be too busy looking for the perp to care about you.



What you are proposing, is just in bad taste.

My ex used to work at one of the stores there. Im not sure if she does. Should call her and see if i can get some info. These are her usual hours there.

Officers where told to be cautious because of a heavy plain clothes detectives in the area.

They have no clue who they are looking for do they?

They have about 25 swat going in now.
Helicopter using spot light to search the roof.

100s of cops leaving the front entrance as the swat team goes in.

One witness on phone with local news reported hearing 4 shots fired as she came out of theater at approximately 9:30.

Another mall employee (in Joes restaurant) on phone with news earlier said there were TWO shooters dressed like bikers.
