Well apparently if your aren't reading signs of how this Government is going it's not my job to do the math for you. That's why I thought we were on these types of sites. If any one person could positively prove anything, as you ask of me, their wouldn't be a need for sites like these. I will leave it at that.

Around here concrete workers don't drive utility trucks with a boxed bed like that.

They'll drive a regular pickup and haul a hopper behind it to mix their mud.

Those types of trucks are normally driven by folks doing natural gas or electrical work. Plumbers too I suppose.

But the logo has that "natural gas company" look to it.

They tend to go for modern art look to try and put a pretty bow around a polished turd.

Ok - my bad - it was the smaller video on the right.

I feel no wiser what so ever after having listened this this guy. First - he gave away all of the locations (specific) of people in the mall. Why would he do that? "They are all locked in bathrooms, etc". I would think, "all are safe in the mall" would be sufficient. If my kid was there and I heard they were locked in a bathroom and this dude knew about it I would be a little perplexed.
He makes it sound like they told them to hide there. Like "it's all ok relatives out there - everyone is locked up safe in the bathrooms even though the perp is gone." He then gives us the confussing talk of "not active shooting incident". Does that have a specialized meaning in Office of ER management/police lingo? He is way too keyed up is all I can think of.

He would have done well to have taken a deep breath and slowed down. Maybe saying "all are safe and will be free to go within the hour". If I'm more confussed by this imagine parents/relatives listening to him. It's too bad he wasn't able to collect himself and think a minute before speaking. You "never" have to talk to the press and always do it on your time (when able).

If protecting yourself against people who intend to strip you of your rights means protecting yourself against a tyrannical government then by all means you are entitled to the same weapons they have.

And they have a lot better than assault rifles.

Oh I'll admit it, I never read Jefferson and the tree of liberty so I did not know that particular caveat. I will read it and thank you for the information/suggestion. I was simply speaking from a place of a non gun owner who will always choose peace over blood shed. And while I do believe we have a tyrannical government that we need to protect ourselves from, I was thinking more along the lines of a home invasion type scenario where a firearm for protection would be warranted. You are correct in that I didn't know something, and now thanks to you I will fill that void.

Now back to the thread, have I missed anything good while folding the laundry? lol

It was on CNN. I don't know if anyone had put a link in the thread somewhere. The witness sounded like a meth-head. I was watching it on TV.

As of now there is no official word other than his suspected identity and a raid on the house at which he lives.

No injuries reported either. This is quite odd, then again it may just be some really random nutbag doing something stupid.

But.. they never let a good crisis got to waste, something will come of it.

That's where I went, doesn't look like it's up anymore.

Probably because the guy was all over the place, he was making it up as he went along. Definitely high as a kite. I think he said there was an assault rifle for sure, he knows what they are, a shotgun and 2 handguns. I think his name was Johnny something.
