a lot of twists and turns in there but he got the girl and a chopper at the end of the day .

the only time in my adult life i got on a bike a suzuki 650 i took it for a spin over a nearby bridge just in jeans and a jacket fxxx i felt like i was naked it was that cold and the bike nearly took off in the wind going over the bridge .

it was the longest 30 miles i ever did i see the need for leathers now when i was a young brat of 10 i trashed a couple of lambreta ? mopeds and a honda copying evil cannevil and they are worth a few quid now ,

i was looking at bikes recently so i will get one next year i plan a honda goldwing cruiser way to old for the speed now but leathers will be a must for me

Everyone should get to see that, the Hoover dam is an awesome sight I mean it is just huge. One of the best rides we have been on and it was only 4hours each way. I wish I could take 6 weeks and just ride across the country and see all of the awesome rides that are out there and just wind up and down the states and take it all in.

oh yeah, gold wings are pretty sweet tourers... If you had instead of trashing them, only kept them in good condition.. Imagine the quid you'd be getting off em!

Great thread OP, I've been riding since 63 and looking at buying a new ride. Haven't quite decided if I will go with a Busa, Big Bear DA or Bourget Fat Daddy with a S&S 124. My wife and I love to ride. Owned many a bike, love the street legal F1's, pro streets and choppers. Remember the secret to long life is Harley, you can't let yourself get old and ride.

This is my current ride - a Royal Enfield Classic 500. I've always been a mad lover of vintage scooters (also got a 1962 Vespa VBB), so when it came to switching to a motorbike, it had to be something with gorgeous lines...

It's not the fastest thing in the world, by any stretch. But you know what - you never feel like you're in a rush when you're riding her. Just gorgeous.

Regards,
Rewey
