Hiker killed and ate his German Shepherd to survive

Anyone who frequently spends weeks alone in the wilderness (as this guy reportedly did)is one tough MF'er. Hope he survives to tell the whole story.

This dog is the fat man. He just had dinner, and this was a very large mushroom pizza. he was not well for awhile. lol We actually had to make a call to the vet.

In his defense, he is on prednisone.

What is the name of the book about Morie Sawataishi? I'm familiar with what he did and as an owner of several akitas I'd love to check it out as my family is indebted to his efforts. One of the best breeds I've ever owned and god save anyone that walks into my house who isn't invited...they're very protective of my kids.
