Here is the BIG problem I have with people claiming that our power or water can be hacked. How many enemies do you think the USA has? More and more everyday right? You would think that with so many enemies and such an easily hackable grid structure it would have happened already. WHY hasn't it then? If someone had a chance to fry our grid they would have done it already PERIOD.

On the other hand, for those of you who believe conspiracies are possible have a look at this from a blog I read located here:

benjaminfulford.net...

He added that for some reason all the FEMA coffins had been moved to Puerto Rico and were being displayed on Puerto Rican TV stations. The CIA source, for his part, said they were going to shut down the US power grid on November 11th.

I guess time will tell........

BIG SUNSPOT FACES EARTH: AR1890, one of the biggest sunspots of the current solar cycle, has turned almost directly toward Earth. This raises the possibility of geoeffective eruptions in the days ahead. NOAA forecasters estimate a 45% chance of M-class flares and a 10% chance of X-flares on Nov. 7th.

www.spaceweather.com

Not saying that anything's going to happen, I just find the coincidence fairly intriguing, considering the date of this drill is only a week away... Especially considering the same sunspot produced an X-3 class solar flare on the fifth. It had a 10% chance of x-flare production that day as well.

NERC Announces Grid Security Exercise

WASHINGTON, DC – The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) announced it will conduct a cybersecurity incident readiness exercise, called GridEx 2011, in November as part of its ongoing cyber readiness program. The grid security exercise, scheduled for November 15-17, will test NERC’s and the electricity industry’s crisis response plans, and validate current readiness in response to a cyber incident. The exercise also will serve as an opportunity to enhance collaboration and strengthen industry security processes and capabilities.

I hope you're joking; That's not a good idea. You'd suffocate yourself if you didn't burn your house down.

What I know is that an entire grid CAN'T be down by a "cyber-attack", that's just a myth.
Same principle as the twin towers CAN'T free-fall not even by 4 airplanes hitting on each side.

Agreed, there are a lot more things that have to go on behind the curtain to achieve "their" agenda.

Well, I dropped by the craft show and checked out the medicine drop-off. They had a table set up in front of the camper, and the entire time I was at the show, nobody walked over there except for more police dropping by to talk. The ones that were stationed at the table had come in an unmarked black Tahoe, and they had a small 1ft x 1ft x 1ft box. That camper was a nice backdrop to show that it was indeed the sheriff's dept, especially since they had an unmarked SUV, but otherwise was completely unnecessary and I expect it will continue to be there all week and they won't tow it off this evening when the show is finished using that Tahoe.

Still haven't heard anything more about the "expected power outages" yet.

Just a note: Add some medal coffee cans with 1/4 of sand in them to burn a small fire if needed. Works really good if you get stuck in the snow while in the car if it breaks down or out of gas.

Peace

Geez don't do that, unless you have a gas mask. You'll smoke yourself right out the door.

I normally try to disprove things so I did some background and it got interesting. The President spent this weekend in Florida. That means his administration and security were relocated. This happens every time he travels.

In the GRID scheme of the U.S. Florida is the smallest Region on the grid. Its designation is FRCC. Florida is the only State unto itself . The rest of the Nations Grid Regions are multi-state.

Florida stands on its on. The massive Savannah River Plant in Southern Georgia (six Federally Owned Reactors), could easily meet the needs of a Southern White House, isolated from the rest of the US and surrounded by Military resources. Florida is home of the Military's rapid response units, space program, and Southern Command.

The grid outage exercise is scheduled for the 13th and 14th.

The President has no Public Schedule for the 13th-15th.

On that note, it might be worth a little look-e-loo into the Bush family's whereabouts. Have the twins been relocated to their South American ranch? Are the George's and their Missus' in FL visiting Jeb?

Hhmmmm....

I am willing to bet my exwifes bank account that Nothing
comes from this drill but.. a simulation of an event.. no real disconnect of power.

But in the 1,000,000 to 1 odds something does happen.......yeah, I'm ready as anyone can be.

Got:
A year and a half of stored food
Seeds for 4 years worth crops
Medical supplies
nearly unlimited water supply
Gas to run gen. for 9 months if needed
Weapons and ammo to keep what I have
Skills and know how to make it through rough times
Lots of people around me prepared as i am to lend a hand.

If it comes, it comes.

Nope same thing. That however does not matter around here where paranoia and fear are the order of the day. When it passes and nothing happens then it will be quickly forgotted untill 2016 when the next one comes up and ATS starts the madness all over again. Happens a weekly basis here.
