Congratulations Beezer, sounds like a good move all round. Never had you down as a corporate big wig.

Hmmmm. Corporate + spitting distance of Canada?

OMG, you're moving to Detroit! I hope I'm wrong on that count though. That city is a war zone.

But congrats on the new job. I hope everything works out for you.

OK, there is now a competition. Yes folks, guess the city our little furry friend will be going to. Of course I very much doubt Beezer will tell us but it could still be fun!

I am going to go for Buffalo.

ROFL.

Congrats!!!!

Working in the corporate world makes you no less noble then someone that does not. I have worked in it for 18 years , making a living that allows me to live life the way I want. Anyone that says someone working a corporate job is a sell out does not have a grasp on reality and what it takes to thrive in the modern world.

All the same, good luck and hopefully it gives you everything you need!

Hope you're close enough to drive there for medical care. Enjoy your penalty tax.

Actually working for a hospital with a medical plan that has 3500/year with a 500 dollar deductible. Again, I've gone corporate, but with the directors position I have that, plus a golden parachute.

Oh, so you were a doctor running a private practice possibly?

Congratulations beezzer and best of luck to you and the family! You did give yourself away a bit with the lower 48 comment though
, sounds like we are losing a good one.

For those of you who complemented on the title, it is from here.

As for my given profession? It's a mix of engineering and biology. I've degrees in developmental neurobiology and electrical engineering.

And for location?

Waaaaay off.

Hey, The Dark Tower series is Sai King's Magnum Opus in my opinion.

If your wife really said that, you found the most awesome woman on the planet to marry.

Does she play Call of Duty, too?

Congrats on the new job.
Its always good when you feel like you scored one for the home team.

She did actually say that. And while she is the most awesome woman on the planet, (remember, she's married to me) she's also the most patient, tolerant (of my silliness) woman on the planet and deserves all the baubles and trinkets that she ever desires.

Is Seattle any closer?

So I guess you would know how to electrocute microbes. Sounds like an interesting profession. As I always tried to tell my sons, you want an unusual mix of professions to keep yourself radically different from the ho hum horde.

Thanks for your post. Basically, I could throw a rock and hit Canada, or a Canadian, but in the case of the latter, I would apologise and buy beer afterwards.

If you need a moving target let me know!
