What came 1st the chicken or the egg?

They arose mutually, simultaneously dependent on one another for their own existence.

The linear mode of thinking we've all been trained to accept resists this concept vigorously.

What came 1st the chicken or the egg?

It is quite obvious the egg came before the chicken. The egg and giving birth to eggs has been utilized as far back as the dinosaurs.

If the question is "What came first the chicken or the chicken egg?" the obvious answer is the chicken came first, as only a chicken can give birth to a chicken egg.
