This is just horrible!

A Polish woman tried to create Frankenstein cats and dogs in horrific experiments on live and dead animals has been arrested.

Almost 100 animal corpses, some showing signs of dissection, were found in freezers at the woman’s home. Police raided the house after locals complained about the smell and noise coming from it.
Animal welfare officers, who found 72 severely malnourished cats, said conditions were “disgusting”, with animal waste in every room. The police said: “She’d grown obsessed with creating a new breed of dog – and then when that failed she switched to cats.
"There had obviously been some sort of sick experiments going on. She’ll now be banned from keeping animals. “But till we get the autopsies on the bodies and examine the injuries to the live cats we won’t know exactly what she was doing here.”

The dead animals are being examined by specialist vets to determine exactly how they died at the house in Warsaw, Poland.

If convicted the woman faces up to two years in prison for animal cruelty, using the cats and dogs for illegal experiments. I think 2 years is far too short a sentence for this! Disgusting!

There is definitely something REALLY wrong with her. Two years is too short in my opinion as well. She needs more than that in mental health help for just being able to do what she was doing. I can't figure out how the screams and cries of an animal can be so easily ignored by some people. I can't help but think the cries of a baby would affect them the same way. It takes a sick individual to hurt something/someone that is helpless.

Hate to see animals being maltreated in any fashion so I agree the lady in question should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

I am however all for the science involved in this particular area moving forward so at the back of my mind I have to wonder how close she came to reanimating them?

A very sick person indeed...

However, what really narks me is the fact that the media just use the word "Sick scientist" and not sick "amateur scientist"!?

Link here : www.mirror.co.uk...

Here we go again... the scientific community are going to get a beating by certain people because of the way that MSM like to win money by giving out "scoop" titles.

I would love to see the proof that this twisted person is REALLY a scientist... diplomas, serious experience and credibility?

All I know is what was said in the article, The article I quoted calls her a scientist.

She had previously been banned from keeping dogs.

Another article here with more info and pictures. I cant find her name or education yet.

I have edited it until I get clarification.

Michael Vick, eat your heart out (literally).

People who mistreat animals have their soul in one hand and their hate on in the other. To view another creature as something to experiment with, torture, or to some of us, even eat, sustains a level of disregard for life and nature that has brought the planet, its oceans, and its forestry to an unprecedented degree of destruction.

While I personally agree with your sentiment I must point out us Humans have been doing just that throughout recorded history.

Sometimes even to our own species although it's all very hush, hush.

Never seen it but am hearing more about it, so I guess its cult status is growing. imnho someone who experiments on any animal has a limited view of their own selfhood. Even most people would object if they see cruel experiments on other primates, and, of course, dogs and cats have that 'family' way about them in many societies. Thanks for this thread, even though it is horrible it's something we have to look at (like I will have to pop some popcorn and look at The Human Centipede at some point).

Agreed, yet notice I said unprecedented. When I was young I sent grasshoppers up in rockets, and when the human race was young it played with other species. Now look at what we've come to - dachshunds and pocket poodles!

disgusting and i doubt that any "science" was involved - just sickness of the mind. reanimating dead corpses animals or humans is always sick even if you wear a white lab-coat and are paid for it.at least for me personally.
instead of "human centipede" i would rather re-watch "re-animator" or any Frankenstein movie 20 times.

I think you are confusing ethics with science. I'm afraid they rarely travel together.

If indeed we could reanimated dead mammals/people I can see a multitude of possibilities and applications that this type of "Science" could indeed be used for the better of humanity. Sick or otherwise its how we use the knowledge that defines our ethical opinion. History apparently does the rest.

Re-animator was a good watch for its time eh? Takes me way back!

Even school children understand body chemistry and that what she did couldnt' work.

This is just sick. 2 years in jail isn't long enough. God knows what she put those poor animals through.

Someone who would do this is Far gone. You get people who are evil and sadistic that hurt animals, serial killers normally start with animals,But if this woman had really believed she could somehow "create a new breed" by doing whatever godawful stuff she did,she is just plain daft in the head. Also cruel and dangerous, imo. She should be locked up in a max security mental institution for the rest of her life.

Or are they going to wait till she decides to create a new breed of child? Not that I don't have sympathy for the genuinely insane,I do.But that does not mean such a person should be allowed to be free in society, not if the individual has exhibited such cruelty and bloodshed.People need to use common sense.

I agree with you I think a 2 year sentence is not enough of a punishment either. If she really did what she is accused of ...then to me she is evil and vile...and I think she should get life in prison for all the lives she took.

I hope she gets the max punishment. Unfortunately, when she is released she will probably go back to harming animals.

Sick people.

Sound likes a sick and twisted story wish it was only that. Ridiculous is the sentence of two years, what the hell are they thinking, obviously the monster relapsed from before. I hope it's challenged, incarceration- to mental health taken care of and or if not karma takes effect, because, err "it" could move on to move harm of life even to people next.
