Ive been following this topic since the discovery of Comet ISON on 21 September 2012, but only recently had the idea that ISON might indeed be the 9th and final sign of the Hopi Prophecy.

All was well once the pictures of ison started arriving, except no colour.

Then a color photos arrived....Clearly showing a "Greenish Tinge" to the nucleus

It was about here I thought of the Hopi.

The next image taken on 31 October really hit it home for me.

spaceweathergallery.com...

This is the Prophecy broken down into 9 stages

This is the First Sign: We were told of the coming of the white-skinned men, like Pahana, but not living like Pahana -- men who took the land that was not theirs and who struck their enemies with thunder. (Guns)

This is the Second Sign: Our lands will see the coming of spinning wheels filled with voices. (Covered wagons)

This is the Third Sign: A strange beast like a buffalo but with great long horns, will overrun the land in large numbers. (Longhorn cattle)

This is the Fourth Sign: The land will be crossed by snakes of iron. (Railroad tracks)

This is the Fifth Sign: The land shall be criss-crossed by a giant spider's web. (Power and telephone lines)

This is the Sixth Sign: The land shall be criss-crossed with rivers of stone that make pictures in the sun. (Concrete roads and their mirage-producing effects.)

This is the Seventh Sign: You will hear of the sea turning black, and many living things dying because of it. (Oil spills)

This is the Eighth Sign: You will see many youth, who wear their hair long like our people, come and join the tribal nations, to learn our ways and wisdom. (Hippies)

And this is the Ninth and Last Sign: You will hear of a dwelling-place in the heavens, above the earth, that shall fall with a great crash. It will appear as a blue star. Very soon after this, the ceremonies of the Hopi people will cease.

Taken from this thread from 2005.

So what say you ATS? Could ISON be the Kachina the Hopi speak of?

I suggest doing an ATS search on the blue star prophecy and would like to know thoughts and get some feedback.

Cheers.

How do you get a comet from "dwelling place"? Seems like a bit of a stretch to me.

Nope. The 'prophecy' is that it is a dwelling place in the heavens that falls. The comet isn't a 'dwelling place'. If this was real prophecy, then it was fulfilled when Space Lab fell or when the Space Shuttle blew up on entry. But a comet doesn't fill the 'dwelling place' prophecy.

Blue is green? That part kinda seems specific yet not matching.

If ISS were to fall I wonder what it would look like on the way down.

Except there is no Blue Star Kachina prophecy. At least not from the Hopi anyway. There are three men who the "prophecy" can be traced back to and none of them are Hopi. A few years back the Hopi even released a press release warning people about believing in prophecies that claim to be Hopi but do not come from a Hopi source.

It is not uncommon for comets to appear green, for instance,

It would be helpful if you posted a link to that information. (if you have one)
Then in the future we could use it when the 'blue star prophecies' come up.
Thanks.

This is a green comet, not blue. If the Hopi were color blind it might make sense.

There is a lot of good prophesy in the Hopi writings, but we often over evaluate the writings. The thunder and guns is probably a good correlation and so are the wheels. Being that some of these Indians came from Europe and parts of that continent long ago I think they knew of these things and passed them on through traditional songs and sayings. The wheel was invented long before the chariots. Our first recorded use of gunpowder was from areas of what is now china, remember that that is the first evidence of it's use, it could have had roots long before that. The lack of communication and sharing of technology and understanding could have cloaked the use of gunpowder for thousands of years by some cultures.

What I am trying to say is that the Hopi could have come here on ships with a dragon head shaped bow possibly five thousand years ago. We do not know. Something could have happened where this history was lost in the writings on the other continents, or maybe nothing was recorded purposely so that the greedy would not go to America and acquire their own goods. Either way, lack of evidence on something like how the Indians got here in the first place is not a good way of evaluating their existence here with knowledge of different cultural practices of the east.

Science needs proof before it can say something is real. Until they get that proof than it is unproven, that does not mean it is not real. Mankind has gone through a lot over the last two thousand or more years and a lot of the writings of past civilizations were destroyed to change the conquered people to a new way of life. This tactic of conditioning seems to have been commonplace throughout much of the world. Also plagues and sickness killed a lot of people and the intelligent alchemists were killed many times because their practices were making things worse...and them richer.

People have sought foods that dope themselves up so they could enjoy life for thousands of years. The people who controlled the psychotropic foods and spices became very powerful and set policies to control people. Beer and wine became very popular in the world many times in history.

If you compare the Hopi history to possible situations in the past you can find a possible origination for the knowledge and sayings. These will be hard to prove because evidence has been destroyed that would substantiate it. The people studying archeology a couple of hundred years ago would often destroy any evidence that did not comply with their learned knowledge. It is getting better nowadays but there is still some discounting of evidence going on because it does not fit consensus of the present beliefs.

This comet appears to be green, unless it turns blue and bright, it probably won't be kachina. The great Kachina is a white man with distinguishable features who takes off a mask to reveal his nature. It could even be a woman. I have read a lot of these Indian writings and they all have some base in my mind but interpretation is hard because people had different ways long ago, they thought a lot different than we do today. What most people prized a couple of thousand years ago we think of as junk today.

no it doesn't, but then again what constitutes "a dwelling place" seems it could have been the shuttle disaster or the space lab and currently our society seems to point to the 2 hearted people making their final choices.

Here's one link:
www.psiram.com...

Robert Morning Sky claims to be Hopi and Apache. He first came to public attention because of the so called Hopi Blue Star Prophecies. But Morning Sky himself admits that he invented the Blue Star Prophecies and they are not part of actual Hopi tradition or prophecy. An article titled, "The Blue Star Hoax" that appeared in LEADING EDGE #95, included this passage. *“Among other things, Morning Sky, a Hopi, claimed that the fabled ‘Blue Star’ does not exist in Hopi legends, teachings or mythology. It was a term that he invented in the early 1970s that has since been pirated by researchers who falsely claimed to have spent time with Hopi Elders learning the secrets of the Blue Star Kachina (a kachina that Morning Sky says doesn't exist), and channelers, psychics and clairvoyants who claim to have received Blue Star revelations from their spiritual sources.” Yet a number of people still push the Blue Star Prophecies as authentic.[7]

In 1997, a meeting by the Hopi religious priesthoods decided to restrict access to Hopi villages. The meeting condemned “new-age interpretation and appropriation of Hopi religious practices [and]…self appointed leaders and spokespersons.”[2] Thus any outsider claiming to represent the Hopi, or claiming to be teaching Hopi traditions or expounding on Hopi prophecy is either engaged in deception or fraud, or deluded. Several outsiders claiming to be Hopi spokesmen actually suffer from mental illness. The central reason for Hopi secrecy is the frequent lies, distortions, and abuse of their spiritual traditions

The problem with this is that it's all open to interpretation.
Sure the explanations of the prophecies that were given could be right..so could the other alternative explanations.

When a prophecy says something like this, " on the 28th day of the 5 month of the year 2014 all the whales in the ocean will beach themselves" and comes true..then that is something you listen to..

these are just opinions on what they are supposed to mean.

i'll flag it for thought and content, just curious though, why would you come into a thread and add nothing but negativity? perhaps some counseling is in order?

Okay, so the blue star part of the prophecy is bunk. What about the rest of the prophecy? Everything else has come to pass.

There is a single genuine example of Hopi prophecy which Hopi elders wished to share with the world, and chose to do so using their own spokesmen. Thomas Banyacya was a Hopi conscientious objector in World War II. He refused to serve in the US Army and was imprisoned along with Amish, Mennonites, Quakers, and other religious pacifists. When the US dropped atomic bombs on Japan, Hopi elders saw in this the fulfillment of Hopi prophecy about a “gourd of ashes” that would spread poison from the air, with the potential to destroy the world. Hopi prophecies also spoke of a “building of mica on the eastern shore.” Hopi elders believed this prophecy foretold the then-new United Nations building. Banyacya was appointed their tribal spokesman and sent to warn the outside world of the dangers of nuclear weapons and work for peace. Lobbying tirelessly and speaking for nearly forty years against war, materialism, and environmental destruction, in 1992 Banyacya finally spoke at the United Nations Assembly. Speaking in the traditional way, without notes and spontaneously, Banyacya described the prophecy and called for world peace, also carrying out a Hopi blessing with corn pollen in the General Assembly. His mission accomplished, the Hopi Nation maintains the only prophecy to be shared with the world was a success in averting disaster for mankind. Hopi Nation spokesmen strongly deny there are any further prophecies to be shared with outsiders

says who? you automatically believe some guy on the inter web who isn't even native? no wonder the two hearts in DC are having such an easy time pulling the wool over our collective eyes. if you want to know about the Hopi, i would suggest you find a real Hopi elder and discuss it with them. they wont share with two hearts, very often, unless it is a lesson and prefer to speak in person.
