Theres nothing in the Constitution? "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." The Constitution is based on individual and property rights which is exactly what this issue illustrated. I suggest you do a simple search.

There are those who believe in and follow the Constitution and then there are those who say they follow the Constitution, which is why the Ground Zero Mosque is such a good example. Libertarians follow the Constitution. Today's Tea Partyers claim to follow the Constitution but they dont.

You're simply offended by the whole idea. Legally, anyone has a right to build whatever, wherever they want so long as they are in compliance with laws ie zoning, commercial, residential, permits, licenses etc.

You exemplify a typical Liberal mindset: "I dont like what youre saying, so you shouldnt have a right to freedom of speech". You were offended by the Ground Zero Mosque so you dont think they should have been allowed to build it...

I can park outside your home and do whatever I want so long as its a public street. If I was in violation of say a noise ordinance or some other applicable law, then that wouldnt be allowed.

How would that affect "your rights"?

The Tea Party was began by Libertarians, specifically Ron Paul supporters to protest Bush.

Some of us can't drink coffee. We have weak tea and biscuits instead.

Tea is the more racist beverage. It's also the most hateful of all the warm beverages except for chicken broth. But we haven't reached that point yet.

I hope that was tongue in cheek because it displays a misguided attitude toward seniors and their years of life on this earth. Experience is a great teacher. Failure by any society to recognize the opinion of the elders is certain portent to true doom if the anecdotes of history matter.

An outside, a-political observation:

A rag-tag non-group of Libertarians ticked off at the Patriot Act that gelled together in their strong opposition to TARP under the Bush administration. Then as the Obama administration continued on in the Bush ways and means, then amplified as if on steroids and electroshock, the TEA party gained membership and noteriety.

Sounds fair, but don't get into the cake/cookie arena. Then that'd be gay.

...I can park outside your home and do whatever I want so long as its a public street....

Not now you can't! Public Assembly on Public Land is now illegal.

"Anti-Occupy" law ends American's right to protest

...Last year’s “occupy movement” scared the government. On March 8, President Obama signed a law that makes protesting more difficult and more criminal. The law is titled the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act, and it passed unanimously in the Senate and with only three “no” votes in the House....

The law “improves” public grounds by forcing people - protestors - elsewhere. It amends an older law that made it a federal crime to “willfully and knowingly” enter a restricted space. Now you will be found guilty of this offense if you simply “knowingly” enter a restricted area, even if you did not know it was illegal to do so. The Department of Homeland Security can designate an event as one of “national significance,” making protests or demonstrations near the event illegal.

The law makes it punishable by up to ten years in jail to protest anywhere the Secret Service “is or will be temporarily visiting,” or anywhere they might be guarding someone. Does the name Secret tell you anything about your chances of knowing where they are? The law allows for conviction if you are “disorderly or disruptive,” or if you “impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of Government business or official functions.” You can no longer heckle or “boo” at a political candidate’s speech, as that would be disruptive.

After you swallow all of this and correctly conclude that it is now very easy to be prosecuted for virtually any public protest, you should brace yourself and appreciate that it is even worse. Today, any event that is officially defined as a National Special Security Event has Secret Service protection. This can include sporting events and concerts....

Here is my thoughts. Who did what to whom and who is responsible is an argument that could go on another century or two. I refuse to have that debate, because in my opinion it is PART of the divide and conquer strategy. It is why I stopped correcting people on the who did what to whom comments.

In my opinion, we are faced with a set of problems created by a government that 2 parties have worked together to create, and we need to hammer out their solutions, because left to our current elected officials, it will get very much worse than it is today.

We are the ones who need to have the solutions at the ready, and we need to approach our officials with the task of implementation or we will write them out during next elections vote with those who WILL.

Thank you for this post. That was very helpful. When I asked that poster who claimed the Tea Party in general was racist what specifically caused him to believe that he refused to answer.

That went a long way to explaining why the refusal.

Create a dependent people who look to you for everything and you can have your way with those people. You create a nation of slaves who no longer think for themselves.

That has been the plan for a lot longer than most people think.

"A government that robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul." - George Bernard Shaw

Shaw was a co-founder of the Fabian Society whose goal is a world government.

One of the founders of the American Fabian Society was John Dewey, father of modern education. Dumbing Down America by Dr. Samuel Blumenfeld explains how Dewey worked 'to show how education could be changed to produce little socialists and collectivists instead of little capitalists and individualists. It was expected that these little socialists, when they became voting adults, would dutifully change the American economic system into a socialist one.

Carroll Quigley, an influential former history professor at the Foreign Service Schools of Georgetown University was Bill Clinton's mentor,..

Tragedy and Hope A History of the World in Our Time by Carroll Quigley, 1966
A second longer excerpt: Tragedy and Hope A History of Banking and Money by Carroll Quigley

"The powers of financial capitalism had [a] far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert by secret agreements arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences." -- Quote from Caroll Quigley's Tragedy and Hope, Chapter 20

...More than fifty years ago the Morgan firm decided to infiltrate the Left-wing political movements in the United States. This was relatively easy to do, since these groups were starved for funds and eager for a voice to reach the people. Wall Street supplied both...

Pg. 939: The New Republic was founded by Willard and Dorothy Straight, using her money, in 1914, and continued to be supported by her financial contributions until March 23, 1953. The original purpose for establishing the paper was to provide an outlet for the progressive Left and to guide it quietly in an Anglophile direction. This latter task was entrusted to a young man, only four years out of Harvard, but already a member of the mysterious Round Table group, which has played a major role in directing England's foreign policy since its formal establishment in 1909. This new recruit, Walter Lippmann, has been, from 1914 to the present, the authentic spokesman in American journalism for the Establishments on both sides of the Atlantic in international affairs....

There does exist, and has existed for a generation, an international Anglophile network which operates, to some extent in the way the radical Right believes the Communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other groups, and frequently does so. I know of the operation of this network because I have studied it for twenty years, and was permitted for two years, in the early 1960s, to examine its papers and secret records.... [I]n general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown...."
[5]

I wanted to quote some of what you said but I did cut it a little shorter. I think anyone interested should go to your original post to read the post in its entirety.

I know that these current policies have been in the works far longer than many realize, and whether or not the goal is a world government, the responsibility of the citizens of this nation is to stop any part of the United States in this.

We must remove ourselves from this direction.. the result whether the goal is world or just the United States will be the same for every American, a life in a socialist state rather than having a representative government.

It is well past time to stand up for our freedoms and liberties. Our forefathers wrote the constitution in such a manner as to protect ourselves from this day, and its past time we utilized it.

Basically the plan involved the subtle transfer of the entire productive capacity of each country throughout the world into a series of great "State-owned" departments, which would then be "corporatized", then "privatized" to City of London Corporation International banks and corporations which they control

Hence why the end goal is not socialist in nature. They are flying the progressive flag to fool people into giving up their rights and property voluntarily. True socialism would be allowing the workers to own the means of production, either entirely or partially.

USA is indeed registered as a corporation, as are all its agencies, in the state of delaware. The stockholders of this corporation, as well as the stockholders of the federal reserve(which is a seperate entity from "the nation") appear to be the bilderbergers. I think the rockefeller and rothschild families own the bulk of these covert shares.

Some people call it "a world government", others "the new world order", masons call it "the great work of the ages", etc.

At some point it goes beyond world government. I am convinced humans are not in charge of this masterplan. The ancient alien series on history channel should provide clues to the annukaki aka nephelim. Its one of those things that the deeper you dig, the smellier it gets. At some point you need a gas mask to prevent poisoning yourself from the unbearable fumes.

I agree but the government needs to get deincorporated for the constitution to have meaning.

Corporations dont have constitutions, they have *charter of operation*.

All the "politicians" are actually hollywood actors putting on a show, and its not even good quality.

I am sorry for being rude before sometimes you have to call a spade as a spade and in street language to get peoples proper attention. I had enough of political correctness to last me another lifetime in hell.
