I say that every culture has been parodied, or has been a Halloween costume. People need to relax on the PCness. Sometimes a costume is just a costume. There is no subtext when a child dresses up like an Indian.
People look for causes where there aren't any in an inane attempt to fill some void in their life.

All the Indians I know dress in jeans or slacks, boots or shoes, t-shirsts or button ups, ...yep I dress like Indians too!

The Regalia the Native Americans wear are considered traditional clothes that mean something to us...it is very offensive when someone wears these as costumes (ie..mocking of the culture).

I bet you people are also the ones who tell blacks and Native Americans to get over the atrocities committed on them, yet tell us to never forget the Jewish holocaust and 9/11..you know the white massacres that happened.

I do not get that offended at all when someone calls me a cracker lol
I actually find that term funny. What i don't understand is how anyone
would want to have more restrictions placed on them by a government
whose track record for being reasonable is well ridiculous.

And i rarely hear anyone say that the atrocities committed in the past
should just be gotten over, the truth is that we cannot go back in time
and change it but we also did not have any hand whatsoever in the
actions, if it was my choice then i would have flat out said no, you may
not own slaves or kill those people just because you want their land.

I however did not get a say in the actions of people who are long dead.
I really wish i would have been able to stop it but i cannot feel guilt for
something i did not have a hand in. I can and do feel remorse for those
who suffered under the barbarians,and for every single person who has had and
those who still do have a boot at their throat.
