Oh yes, we have plenty of those haha it seems strange but we've never had a massive traffic jams and you can get to any point in Milton Keynes within 15 minutes!

We may have a chav problem and someone really thought concrete was the way forward in it's construction, but they put thought into it and it's actually got lots of lakes and parks, my estate is a park and it's beautiful! It even has a Roman Villa's ruins on it!

I do love my little spot of England, I just wish we weren't run by douchbags.

I know there are some lovely places in Keynes....but like all places....they have their good v bad....but unfortunately, as is most humans instincts we tend to focus on the bad....maybe because deep down we are all looking for that fantastical eutopia.

We're OK in flood department, but I did see a car floating outside Redbourne last week and the police closed off Caddington due to flooding.

The wind however is a different story

I worked MK for a while just down the road from the *Ahem* concrete cows.

Hi just checking in. I`m from Yorkshire but am down in Swindon now. Glad to see that there are a lot of brits on here and its good to know that most parts of the UK are covered. A meet up would be nice but a drink round a fire with a decent tune and conversation would be better. See you all when that happens
Cheers till then or bottoms up

Helloooooo!
I've started passing these out now...

I'm moving to Gloucestershire (hopefully Cheltenham) in the summer!
You're right....about time some meet ups were starting to get organised, especially with the summer coming up!

I'm in Gloucestershire. I enjoy mooching around our local nuclear power stations making sure they really are being decommissioned and not just being used as an excuse for endlessly siphoning off public money.

This video shows a little of the path clearing I've been doing alongside Berkeley Nuclear Site.

You'll recognise me if you see me. I'm the one with the eerie green glow.
