I wonder what percentage of ocean life Fukushima will be responsible for killing, Why can't japan seem to catch a break.

The international community needs to drop everything its doing and help, this is a world wide effecting catastrophe and humanity needs to unite to help the japanese people.

Just read that there are multiple flares we are being hit with at the moment so guess it could be a combo punch.

Except for the fact that:
-most of the "flares" you talk of have completely missed earth,
-we were hit in a minor way by one, but that was yesterday,
-and that the other two have not even got here yet.

So yeah, no.

Holy Sh*t!!!! I honestly can't believe this is happening, possibly again... Give this coast a break for godsake. And give the rest of the world a break. Like dealing with Fukushima wasn't hard enough as it is, lets throw another huge EQ and Tsunami into the mix...

Be safe folks of Japan, get to high ground, watch yourselves...

A Reuters reporter tweeted that the plant's operator, Tepco, indicated no irregularities after the earthquake

Of course, that's according to Tepco.....

www.cnbc.com...

The Japan Meteorological Agency issued a "yellow" warning early on Saturday morning that a small tsunami would reach the Japanese coast at Fukushima, site of a wrecked nuclear power plant, at 1740 GMT.

Japanese media is telling folks the time for a tsunami has passed.

Maybe they dodged a bullet on this one.

Yeah, the same tweet that said they spoke to tepco who reported no irregularities, and they also told workers to evacuate to higher ground.

Ummmm.....who's minding the plant then? Not a good situation, no matter how you look at it.

We all better remember that they've gotten pretty good at hiding the true extent of the problems they're facing. Don't forget this. For all we know at this very moment something disastrous has occurred at the nuclear site, but we may never know.

Ya I feel for them also.........BUT. Were is the urgency to fix this problem? If another big one does hit it could really mess this world up not just for them but many, many other countries. Arrogance and blind fatih in tepco is foolish and dangerous.

When will they finally hold them accountable. Instead of asking for help at this point they need to start begging for it. The clock is ticking and they are going to run out of time at this pace.

Why do you assume the connection is direct-earthquake? You state with an unequivocal "no" yet you seem to assume the ONLY way there can be a connection is a direct line of sight impact - why? Why do you assume this?
