BEIJING (Reuters) - Reports that portraits of North Korean leader Kim Jong-il had been removed were a U.S. plot to overthrow the government and a "groundless fabrication," Xinhua news agency quoted a North Korean official on Friday as saying.

WeComeInPeace, made a VERY interesting and thought provoking thread regarding circumstances in North Korea which have gone virtualy unnoticed, please, take a look.

If his potraits are down -- potraits which dictated his utter authority -- this could be a pre-cursor to some sort of change, or Kim got plastic surgery and all those pics need to be rehashed. lol

I wonder if China has anything to do with this? China is making some very suspisious moves these days, very suspious indeed...

Good thing I live in Canada, we're to worried about banning trans fat for now !
