I don't think they care if people can afford it or not. It's all about the pockets of the insurance companies. I don't think it was ever meant to to a damn thing for us. And don't forget the govt's pockets which are going to be getting fatter from the fines from the people who refuse. If it was put in place to help us, then safeguards would have been put in place so we wouldn't be hearing about the nightmarish things happening to people that are happening right now. I'm with you ... still lost and confused about the whole deal ... and still plenty pissed.

It seems that everyone wants to go to the doctor if you catch a little bug, the doctors do nothing other than to give you a slip that you can bring to work to collect your sick pay benefit.

I have seen it in my friends, first sign of a sniffle they go.

And why did Obama push the start of the website knowing it wasn't ready, none of this adds up, they knew people don't have this kind of money.

What is really happening?

And what even pisses me off more than just me losing my coverage, it's people that are trying to support their families that used to have a 40-hour a week job now are getting less than 30 hours a week. When they made 30 hours a full-time work week, I know a lot of people that have been cut down to 23-25 hours a week ... that's 15 hours or more a week that they now won't be getting paid for. But, yet, they have an additional tax to pay if they don't get coverage. I'd be totally screwed if my employee said, well, you can't work 40 hours a week anymore... we're cutting you to 23. That's almost HALF of what I would normally be making. Where were their crystal balls? They didn't see this coming like a freight train down Main Street?? Probably ... but they don't give a sh##.

Insurance companies are in the business of profit and profit, this isn't a communist country.

When it comes to healthcare, we SHOULD be communists. There should be no profit for our right to life.

No he doesn't care, he pushed it for the same reason he refuses to give an inch and negotiate, his narcissistic ego, Obama is dangerous because he is so self-absorbed and vindictive, to show people who is the boss he is wiling to take the whole country down with him, after all he won.

I think he is a deranged sociopath.

During the shutdown he wanted to make it as painful as possible, this is a sick human being that lacks empathy.

Even scarier is the fact he can get people to do his bidding.

Well, I believe it's one of those inalienable rights given to me by my creator. You know, along with liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If healthcare is available, it should be available to all, not just to those with money and power.

You are on the right path, where your going wrong is making the POTUS seem like he is stupide and has no idea what he is doing.

To the contrary he was installed to do exactly what he is doing, read the "Cloward and Piven strategy" written in 1966, if you can get through it , it will clear a lot up as to what is coming.

Just the idea that insurance company's are dumping so many people should tell you that like the Democratic voter base was created so will the ACA base be created hence 16+ million people without healthcare that were told they would be able to keep it if they wanted to.

I have fought OC since day one.. I knew it was going to be a cluster but I hadn't envisioned it being this bad.. One time I wish I'd been wrong.. We were sold one thing and receive another..

Although it's not going to effect me as of yet.. I truly pray for those who are going to be bankrupt just trying to adhere to the law..

The next step in OC, is the remaining insurance company's are going to drive rates up through the roof to recoup their margins.. Then end up going under and big brother will provide all HC for everyone.. I'd say by 2016 we'll see this going into effect..

Well if this is accurate I guess we just added 16 million new racists to the roster. Pretty much the only possible explanation. And racists deserve no healthcare

A point I think some have trouble grasping is, Insurance companies are out to make a profit.

They are not benevolent organizations there to assist you, they are there to garner the top dollar they can with the least risk to themselves.

I was starting to think I was the only person in the world who knew that!

You also want to pray they are not in bed with the rest of the medical industry. If they are, it is indeed in their interest to make as many people sick as possible, as the money the insurance companies pay out would go straight to their mates...

When will the progressive sheep finally wake up? They have used you.......They have lied to you. They used your ideology and hate to terrible effect. If you do not see the light by know you might want to take a big step back and question everything around you.



Conservatives are already waking up and the Republican party will fall apart. The two part system is a lie people, they have used us all.




Socialized health care is not about helping people it is about power. They want the power over your family and you. The question remains how far will people let them take this power before they say enough?

Tonight I had the last laugh. Except it really wasn't funny. About 2 months ago, I was telling a cleaning lady at work how terrible Obamacare was. And she said, everyone is saying that because he is black. I said whatever and walked away since her racism made me want to puke.

So today, I mentioned something to another person about how my works health insurance so far hasn't changed (I work for a different company.) And the cleaning lady was nearby and literally screamed, "DON"T SAY A WORD about health insurance. GROWL!!! Oct 1st, mine changed and they are making me pay for it. GROWL!!!!"

Yeah hers and over 50,000 others that work for that company. Plus they are reducing coverage. Plus they will not be allowed to smoke even on their unpaid breaks.

I didn't even have the heart to ask her how she felt about Obamacare now or rub it in her face. I knew this Obamacare was going to hurt a lot of people, so a few can benefit.

Not only do we now have government extortion to become customers of a completely corrupt "insurance" industry but even those who were able to afford private health "insurance" are being shafted by this as well. Every is being completely ruined by it. The worst part isn't even extorting people into being customers of a fraudulent industry but
the Affordable Care Act includes tyrannical legislation to own you and your bank accounts, allowing the government unprecedented access into your bank accounts and more. Once the shock of how badly screwed on the medical front everyone is subsides the new shock of how the rest of their rights, freedoms and privacy disappeared with this act.

So we ignore ways to reduce initial costs for healthcare and just say "* it! Let's go full out socialist!"

That was the plan all along. And you got it now. The same government that gave you the drone, NDAA, Patriot Act, "Free Speech Zones", now gets to give out healthcare.
