In the very first page Pike explains that what he writes is his opinion and can be agreed with, or ignored by anyone. SO you are now asking Augustus to offer his opinion on Pike's opinion. While that is perfectly acceptable please understand that neither one speaks for all of masonry, just as none of us do.

The quote (IMHO) is just like where Pike mentions the Blue degrees being the outer portico of masonry. If you look into that, you will find that Pike, incorrectly, thought that the Templars were directly connected to the Scottish Rite and there were much more importance placed on that rite. Later in his life, he understood that there was no direct proof for that assessment and he recanted his previous opinion. Today, all masons seem to agree that the Blue degrees are the true base of Masonry. We recognize the Templars in degree work for both the Scottish and York Rites.

But keep in mind that what you have is just one masons opinion. Nothing more, nothing less.

Then why was he charged with cleaning up the rites and manuals?

He was 'charged with cleaning up' the Southern Jurisdiction's Scottish Rite degrees because they elected him.

He was and is completely irrelevant to non-Scottish Rite Masons in the South and completely irrelevant to all Masons in the North. How much more obvious does this need to be than the name of the book everyone quotes from?

Baphomet symbol?

Thats like Manson interpreting the Beatles White Album.

Compass works better measuring the "tropic of Sir Galahad" in the America album.

non-Scottish Rite Masons in the South

That explains a lot.....

You won't get too much traction around here, most 'Masons' will tell you that they don't worship Lucifer (a Lie), and that for a secret organization, there really is nothing shady at all going on...

Who would worship a mistake? "Lucifer" is actually a disgraced Babylonian king. Certainly not worthy of any worship.
Masons are ordinary people who had their religion long before they came to be Freemasons. If you are at all interested in the subject, I suggest a tiny bit of research to point you away from the silliness you have displayed.

Only tool bags believe in Lucifer, a fictitious boogeyman mistranslation.

If you think we worship Lucifer, then please find a copy of our ritual and show us from the ritual where this "worship" occurs. I can wait.
