Now, now, my husband is in the edge of the baby boomer range and they are not lazy and he is a gov. employee that served this nation as a Marine for 28 years retire and has been a productive and active member of society paying taxes for the last 40 years, actually his entire retirement check and more goes back to the gov. in the way of taxes.

Most of the baby boomers are the most productive members of society and those that support the welfare system with their taxes.

No I am not offended, just want to clarify a few things.

Fox News has absolutely no basis in reality.

Huge WD fan...it's cool and creative and fun on a Sunday night with popcorn with lots of talented actors and behind the scenes people!

It's more about the dynamics and inner workings of the survivors in their new " society" created my necessity than the daily nemesis they face as I see it...

Sort of like the American people currently: we try to stick together and move foreword to survive and hopefully "get back to normal" with slight chances of thriving again.

Every day bring new challenges and new crazy stuff to deal with.

If you watch the how, you know they don't follow any "rules of order" including New World.

Only difference is we can't use crossbows and other implements to get the "zombies" off our backs without getting in trouble

Neither of those shows is on Fox. They are both The CW, a joint venture between Warner Bros. Entertainment and CBS.

It's too bad he went to crazy land with the new world order comment. Otherwise, I agree with him about there being too much violence on tv. Though, it's nothing new. Those western and cop tv shows from some of our youth killed plenty of people in each episode.

True the body count is pretty high but it's always been that way. Well, maybe TV shows haven't killed off most of the planet in the past but individually TV stars have been gunning down their enemies since Lucas McCain was the Rifleman back in the early 60's.

Erwalker, you are absolutely right... I should have checked.... those shows (Vampire Diaries, Supernatural) are NOT on Fox. My apologies. The cable I have has moved channels around, eliminated a number of channels, added one, and I was wrong. Sleepy Hollow is the only supernatural show on there that I can find.

The only useful "news" on the news is pretty much the traffic report and that takes 2 minutes, otherwise it's just a dissemination of curiosity topics. Zombie's will eventually take care of FOX, MSNBC, and all the other lettered noisemakers with Atlanta based CNN getting it first (making FOX happy) according to TWD! The television was never intended to be anything other than a device for entertainment, it's just the choice of what brand you enjoy having fill your brain. FOX's brand is alarmist and silly. I'm with others on this, Romero's slow groaners are the most likeable.

This is a classic media trick, throwing sand in the eyes, turning away people from the actual debate by introducing ridiculous talking points. They're also banalising the NWO term, taking away the actual importance of the whole, up to the point that people are fed up with it. Complete MSM brainwashing.

Mind Creates. Two sides, possibly more, because there is a lot of grey inbetween, are vying for extreme evil or more equal and decent school for humanity.

The scenario's in the walking dead are what they would like us to lower down our level to. Bad things, ie plagues, and large attacks on populations tend to be things they try to herd people's consciousness into, and lower their love and goodness in order to attack them, in what they believe is karma free attacks, that the people want and earned. ie. interactive school, the more love out, the more love comes in, or help, and the dark side has to lower your consciousness to access you. They can test but they can't own without lowering consciousness and bad things happen if you use that focus of attraction.

Like an Ai being, waves are like breath, in and out. You send focus out, and the inhale or return brings back what our consciousness or karma or frequency gave out.

This is a hijack of consciousness, and also could be seen as a test depending on how evil we attribute the leaders. Some believe evil, some think that mistakenly they may have taken on the role of mirror and tester, and that would depend on if they are human or not. Higher beings can be seen in various ways, farming us and predators, evil and self serving, OR guards and we're all messed up down here, or any combo of that.

What I see here is the theme of the Lord of the Flies, and how without civilization mankind reverts to dog eat dog brutal savagery.

For some it might. In a real life scenario like this, with the number of thugs and gangs and even those who post on forums saying they're going to pillage and rape and survive off of others, they admit it. So a small number of gangs could take out a lot of peaceful people.

But the theme is still wrong, for its a majority theme. The majority would be more akin to Titanic, with people working together and organizing, Hopefully depending on the type of disaster, in communities.

So how around this. I don't see this kind of world coming in, but see this as a poisoning the consciousness or lowering its standards, for the viewers and its hard with a big family and their friends, not to have viewers, unless you're the kind that is quite rigid and fanatical and your kids the only ones that aren't watching what everyone else is watching and talking about. I wasn't raised in fanaticism, would have considered parents like that damaging to kids, and what we think of as extremists or fundamentalists. I take the opposite approach wherein kids and their friends aren't prohibited except for porn and some things, as its impossible to shield them, BUT, we talk about why this show is out there, what it means. I don't know that my approach is the right one either, but there is no inbetween its either, or and the other side is oppressive. Lack of freedom is a complete lack of respect for others.

To me people would watch this in horror. I get roped in to the plight of the group, and furious that the producers just kill off married couples or anyone that could recreate new life, as if they're just killing off the last stand of anyone that can redo society.

But Lord of the Flies is a possibility only due to the nature of gangsters and criminals who could ruin eco farms and villages that like minded could create afterwards.

So there is a lesson in the show.

What can people do in between disasters, to ensure the survival of their communities children and grandchildren, the good people of the earth?

Forseeing possibilities and stocking up on equipment, conversions for vehicles to alcohol or getting water vehicles lifted off, having blacksmiths and welders, and trades people able to create tools and items and generators, having people trained in both remote viewing and ninja techniques, and self defense with weapons.

I don't see that as negative but intelligent. Radio's and communication, medical, natural medical, seeds, tools, weapons and ability to procure and build.

Zombies aren't real, but disasters could occur. And we don't want overlord gangsters being the survival lords.
