We calculated the answer, following a simple methodology that made the most of the 906,539 ratings on foodnetwork.com. First, we searched out all the recipes that fit a certain description...

Of all the foods we analyzed, bacon lends the most improvement to sandwiches. Many other foods also benefitted. In fact, we found that when you crunch the data for all recipes, those with bacon do in fact rate higher.

I just got back from Cali., ate at slaters 50/50 just forgot about the most amazing burger experience, and then this??!!!

Seriously, if you havent been there, go there are two...TWO! They have a bacon pretzel bun for the love of god.

Those burgers haunt my dreams. Oh and for those of you who dont know what Im talking about, the 50/50 stands for half beef and half ground up bacon.
