Yeah, I was just gonna add that I felt Lawless was a bit too long in the tooth for the WW role as well.

Gabrielle Miller looks like she could pull it off ...

I had to do a startpage search to figure out who that was. From the neck up, it wouldn't be a stretch. From the neck down...not really. She doesn't have the definition of a "warrior goddess" IMO. Lastly she has no definitve skill working with the staples of action movies. She has no formal martial arts training (unless you count yoga) no gymnatics prowess and if she was ever a dancer, it was probably as a stripper.
(And probably not a very good one!)
I'm pretty sure her notion of "wire work" has something to do with making a dreamcatcher.
Although unrelated...I never liked "Corner Gas".

I think to find a decent Wonder Woman, they should start to comb the WWE/WWF Divas for someone who can act. Needless to say...that could take a long, LONG time!

I think a good Wonder Woman would be hard to cast. But then, Hollywood has a huge directory of possibilities we know nothing about. Let alone casting calls.

Dye her hair black, give her some acting lessons and maybe some blue contacts.
She has the "death look" down.
She has the skills to make the fight choreography look real.
She definitely has the dimensions & definiton to portray a "warrior goddess".

This was just a spur of the moment thing...but I'm sure if I think about it long enough, I'll see plenty of reasons why it's a bad idea.

I remember an article about a year or two ago saying they were revamping WWs look, goodbye to the bikini look and modernizing her, I think I remember leather pants or jacket or something

i'm digging the new wonder woman fan films.
it will be tough to find a lady to take lynda carter's place as wonder woman.
to be wonder woman (convincingly) she would have to:

be athletic but graceful,
smart but easy to talk to,
kind eyes,
be feminine but not too girly,

lynda carter fit this, that's why it is so tough to find a person to take up the lasso.

If Hollywood were to make an awesome Wonder Woman with grit, they would have to kill her. Heroic fierce women are just not done in this country. Women who are strong must also have obvious weaknesses so as not to be threatening. Shame that. I am with you, would love to see it.
