I think Grand Theft Auto V references ZZ Top

So I bought some records at a yard sale the other day, one of them was a Boston record and one of them was a ZZ Top record.

Grand Theft Auto: Z Type

Well, it is similar, I am not sure if it is the same.

Sweet...I am having a blast playing this game right now. Only 50% done.

Anybody that has followed the Rockstar franchise knows that "Easter eggs" are a common facet in the game lore.

They are not the same car.

The car on the ZZ Top records is probably a 1933 Ford coupe

The Z-type car in GTA 5 looks like a modern remake of the Bugatti Type 57

The car is called a z-type as a nod to the car known as the Z-type which featured in GTA2 when it was still a top down shooter,it was a gang car for the zaibatsu if memory serves correctly.....was/still am a huge GTA geek!

I don't know why R* would put a ZZ Top reference in it when they sure didn't bother putting any good rock music in the game. What a disappointment this game is. There's also a lot of hatred/racism towards rural peoples/rednecks/hillbillies. After seeing how those people were portrayed I turned it off, took it back to Gamestop and got my money back and bought another game. V is nothing like the games R* used to make.
