You know, I'm pretty dam liberal guy and I have to say that even though I did not like Ari's boorishness a whole lot, I did (do) respect him for not letting anyone run him over.

I can see him in a White fedora, he has the smart but hard look, like he is a mob don. i can see him sliding people in holes in the deserts of Nevada.

Was he found responsible for the anti-french bashing and the lies about France (helped Saddam escape, passports in Syria, intelligence for Iraq, weapons for Iraq etc..) and had to go?

Yes Max, Ari just made all that up about France, he thought it would be fun. So, Ari had to go. Word has it there is an opening at the NY Times he is going to fill.

Though the job is below him, I'd like to see John McCain become the new press secratary then have a 'Nam flashback while chewing out Helen Thomas. But, that's just my sick little imagination...alright then, just gonna go back to work now
