Even assuming something managed to stop this planet rotating, then what is going to start it again? The forces need to bring this planet basically to a dead stop would likely destroy it (or effectively kill everything on it except for microbes and some sea life and ummm, okay, roaches ), and much the same would apply to starting it again.

What if the planet s-l-o-w-e-d down and continued to slow until stopped.

You ask a good question, especially if you mean within a relatively short period of time (like days, weeks or even just a few years). However, the prophet said he was told by the Lord that the planet would stop turning for three days and in the various videos that FF posted and I watched and listened to, there was no mention of a gradual slowdown over an extended period of time. So the scenario you ask about, while interesting, doesn't apply in this case.

Asteroid. Earthquake. Tsunami. That's the 'three'. I think it's all one but they are calling it three. Oh ... and they say the earth will stop rotating for 3 days because of the hit and tidal wave. But that's impossible. If that happens, humanity pretty much dies off. The rest of the prophecy says we are still here so that 'stop rotating for 3 days' is just wrong.

Lol I understand that they call it 3 events but it is just 1 event with 4 (lol) consequences.

Event: big rock hits Earth.
Consequence 1: impactzone
Consequence 2: earthquake because of hitting faultline
Consequence 3: tsunami
Consequence 4: stopping of rotation (with all kinds of additional consequences kinda like butterfly effect)

If I have had 1 crash, the event, I would never say I had 4 accidents

Consequence 1: deformed automobile
Consequence 2: broken leg
Consequence 3: bruised head
Consequence 4: wet pants

No, not even if they all exploded in such a way as to create a vector of force against the earth's spin, which they wouldn't anyway. The blast force would be spread out both towards the vertical at that location -- meaning up into the air or down into the ground/nearby sea -- and also radially. It's not as if the explosive force would be directed along one primary axis at an acute angle to solid ground to vector the force against the spin (or for it, either). Besides which the heat would vaporize much of the closest ground and help to minimize the effects to any such vectored force.

But the key issue here is the total energy available. If we look at the maths of the total amount of energy released by such an event, versus the rotational energy (angular kinetic energy) of the entire planet (2.138×10^29 J.) we can see how it weighs up. As one Hiroshima bomb is calculated to have released something like 63 TJ*** (a TJ is 10^12 Joules), then 14,000 of them detonating at once are going to have a combined energy release of 14,000 x 63 TJ = 882,000 TJ, which is 8.82 x 10^17 J. That's a huge blast, for sure, but it is significant orders of magnitude less than the planet's angular kinetic energy -- never mind the fact the explosions won't perfectly vector their energy against the earth's rotational spin.

To put it into a single figure, the earth's angular kinetic energy (in Joules) is a little over 242 trillion times greater than the energy released by 14,000 hiroshima bombs.

I suspect it would have about as much effect on the planet's spin as a smallish bug hitting your car's windscreen while you're driving down the highway has on the vehicle's forward motion. Measurable, just maybe, but by no means major.

As for what it would do to our enviroment and us to have that amount of radioactive matter ejected into the atmosphere, well -- that's a subject for another thread.

***The bomb was "20 KT" (84 TJ) but it didn't actually produce that amount of energy. Even if it had, then 14,000-bomb figure (whilst horrific) is still a very small amount of energy compared to our planet's total angular kinetic energy.

Certainly not speaking to yourself here, I think for myself I am just a little trouble when i think of that very real thing as opposed to this pretty far fetched one. I am on the CA coast so it is always hanging in my mind!

I don't usually believe the people that "attempt" to tell a future tale of disasters, BUT.. BUT. there may , possibly be a shred of truth in what this guy is saying.

A long time ago, years and years ago, I was big into aliens and UFO's etc. and would watch alot of videos about abductions etc. I stumbled across a video, and im going to link it. Of a man, who claims he was abducted, and has pictures to prove he at least "seen" a "UFO". During the interview, the man asks the abductee what did the aliens tell/show you. And he says

" A meteor or Rock will be falling to earth in the near future, that will fall near the Caribbean and puerto rico area and will effect the entire world"


He talks about it at the 2:10 minute mark.

What I do like about this instance, is
1. this is very old 1988, so it at least removes a great "majority of photo editing software that is used nowadays.
2. He was abducted as well as a handful of people.
3. All of them tell the same story, and each know info the other person didnt tell anyone.
4. There was an actual "investigation" rather then the "brush off" of your crazy.
5. The pictures of the US planes in Puerto Rico in addition to the UFO.

On a side note, Alot of this mans interview, it really seems like hes trying to recollect everything he saw, and heard. And his face, and eyes make me think, either hes a great lier. Or something did in fact happen and he believes it. But thats just my opinion.

np, at time 6:24 in video, left of sunset, u see the clouds make a scorpions tail.

There seems to be an eagle head and spread wing on right side of sunset, upper right.

It actually appears to be a full scorpion in those clouds.

The Christmas Tsunami a few years back changed the earths rotation ... like by a second or something. So for someone to say that an asteroid of that size hitting the earth would stop rotation for three days ... that's not scientifically accurate. And for them to say that there would still be a Puerto Rico and other nations after the Earth stopped rotating .. that also couldn't happen. If the Earth stopped rotating ... EXTREME chaos would happen with the winds and tides and plates. I've seen simulations ... it isn't pretty.

I'm sure this prophecy is bunk. But I posted it for two reasons.

1 - Everyone loves good doom porn to mock.
2 - It's being discussed on other sites that ATSers go to so I thought I'd carry it over to this one.
